To fill the application for Vizag Steel Recruitment through GATE 2026, follow these steps:

• Obtain GATE application number: The GATE application number will be mandatory for the Vizag Steel Recruitment application and will be mentioned in the GATE admit card.

• Registration: Visit the Vizag Steel official website and register by entering your GATE application number, enrolment number, and basic details like name, category, PwD status, date of birth, email ID, etc.

• Upload Documents: Upload a recent passport-size photograph and signature as per the specified guidelines.

• Complete Online Registration: Click on the second stage of online registration and provide personal details, qualification, and experience information. Then, click on SUBMIT.

• Pay Application Fee: Proceed to pay the application fee through the Payment Gateway using Debit Card, Credit Card, or Internet Banking.

• SC/ST/PwD Candidates: If you belong to the SC/ST/PwD category and are exempt from paying the application fee, you can download the registration slip after entering all the necessary details.

• Generate Registration Slip: After successful payment, a computer-generated Registration Slip with a unique registration number, photograph, signature, and other essential details will be generated.

• Download and Print: Download and print the Registration Slip, as you will need to produce it during the Personal Interview stage.

Important Points:

Candidates must ensure that the details entered in the online application are the same as those entered in GATE registration. It is essential to provide the correct GATE 2026 application number and roll number, as GATE 2026 scores will be retrieved based on the application number and enrolment number provided.

Application Fee:

Rs. 500 + 18 percent GST (No fee for SC/ST/ PWD candidates) to be paid online.

Selection Procedure for the Vizag Recruitment through GATE 2026

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their GATE 2026 scores. If shortlisted, candidates have to appear for a personal interview.
Documents to be carried to the Interview

• Vizag Steel Registration Slip

• Five passport size photographs (as submitted by them to GATE-2014 authorities)

• GATE 2026 admit card

• GATE 2026 score card

• Marks sheets and provisional certificate/degree

• Birth certificate/class 10th certificate

• Category certificate if applicable

• Medical certificate in case of PwD candidates

• Any other as specified

Training/ Probation: Candidates will have to undergo training for a period of 1 year after which they will be under probation for a period of 1 year. On successful completion of training, candidates will be absorbed as Junior Manager in E-1 grade.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be offered a Basic Pay of Rs.20,600/- p.m. in the Pre-Revised Pay Scale of Rs. 20,600-3%-46,500. On successful completion of training they may be placed in the Pre-Revised Pay Scale of Rs. 24,900-3%-50,500/-. The Cost To Company would be around Rs. 9.81 lakhs p.a. during the training period and Rs 11.86 lakhs p.a. after the training period.
