Nationality: To be eligible for VITEEE 2013 applicant for admission should be a Resident / Non Resident Indian National.
Candidates appearing for the VITEEE-2013 should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2013, in any one of the following qualifying examinations:
The final examination of the 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State Board; Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi); The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE, New Delhi).
Intermediate or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London / Cambridge / Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) Level.
Candidates who have studied in Regular, Full time and Formal Education are alone eligible to apply.

VITEEE 2013 Eligibility Criteria in the Qualifying Examination: Candidates appearing for the VITEEE in 2013 should have secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate). The average marks obtained in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (PCM / PCB) in +2 (or its equivalent) put together should be 50% for the following categories:
Candidates belonging to SC/ST category
Candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.
In case the marks statement is not produced by the candidates at the time of admission, the decision of the Management regarding his / her eligibility and admission to the programme shall be final.
Candidates who have attempted Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the VITEEE 2013 are eligible for all the 14 B.Tech. Degree Programmes.
Candidates who have attempted Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the VITEEE 2013 are eligible only for B.Tech. Bioinformatics, Bio-Medical Engineering and Biotechnology programmes.
Age Limit for VITEEE 2013:
Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 1991 are eligible to apply for VITEEE-2013. The date of birth as recorded in the High School / SSC / X Certificate /Birth proof certificate will be considered authentic.

The cutoff is technically the last rank which could grab a seat in the given branch at the given campus. For IT in Vellore campus, the cutoff is around the AIR of 12000.

No, In vit there is no reservations for any community or on basis of economic conditions. It provides scholorships to students based on performance.
In india only government colleges provide mandatory reservations, other private colleges may provide or may not provide reservations.

B.Tech in CSE (spec. in Bioinformatics) : It basically comprises of applications of Statistics and Programming, Database management of help manage and interpret biological data. It comprises of courses in Computer Science, Biology and Mathematics/Statistics .
B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering :
