Hello
An 86.70 percentile in JEE Mains translates to a general category rank of around 1,50,000 - 1,80,000, depending on the number of candidates appearing for the exam .
If in the General category , getting Electronics Engineering in NITs or IIITs is unlikely but some GFTIs might be possible in the CSAB rounds .
If from a reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) there is a higher chance of securing a seat in lower-ranked NITs, IIITs or GFTIs through CSAB .
You can enroll for Engineering Prep Combo to boost your JEE, BITSAT, VITEEE & other state-level exam Preparation & Get Unlimited Mock tests.
Hello,
To get into Amrita University through JEE Main for Computer Science Engineering (CSE), aim for a percentile of 97-99%. You can also get admission through AEEE , where a percentile of 96-97% is needed for CSE.
And 70% of the seats are allotted based on AEEE scores and the remaining 30% based on JEE Main ranks.
So, you need to attempt AEEE also (as the first session is completed, apply for second session).
Thank you ...
With 63 percentile in JEE Main 2025 and a rank around 5 lakh, getting Biomedical Engineering at SGSITS Indore is difficult.
In previous years, the closing rank for OBC home state candidates was much lower (around 1.7-2.8 lakh). Though SGSITS offers Biomedical Engineering in Hindi, your rank is quite far from the cutoff. You may explore other colleges or branches with lower cutoffs.
You can use our JEE Main College Predictor Tool to predict which college you can get based on your score.
Hope it helps !
