    Kerala M.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2026

    The authorities has released the Kerala M.Tech 2026 eligibility criteria online. Candidates must check the information brochure for the eligibility criteria of Kerala M.Tech admission 2026. The eligibility criteria comprise educational qualification and citizenship. Below are the Kerala M.Tech eligibility criteria.

    Kerala M.Tech 2026 Eligibility Criteria

    The following eligibility conditions must be met by the candidates for Kerala M.Tech admission 2026 -

    • Candidates should be Indian Nationals.

    • Candidates should have completed their graduation from AICTE /UGC-approved Deemed Universities in India

    • Candidates who started graduation from a foreign university have to obtain an equivalency certificate from A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technological University.

    • Candidates should have completed their graduation from an institution approved by AICTE/Deemed Universities in India with minimum aggregate marks of 60% in the qualifying exam. There are no minimum aggregate marks for SC/ST candidates and they are required to just pass. A minimum of 54% aggregate marks have to be secured by SEBC (OBC) candidates in their B.Tech qualifying exam.

    • Candidates who qualify AMIE/AMIETE exam with a minimum of 55% in Section B and a valid GATE score will be eligible for Kerala M.Tech admission 2026.

    • Those candidates who will be appearing for the final semester exam will also be eligible if they have passed all subjects up to the 6th semester (8th semester for B.Arch candidates). The confirmation of such candidates will be confirmed after they produce their qualifying degree before the date allotted by the University.

    • Should have qualified GATE.

    • In case seats remain vacant, non-GATE qualified candidates of Kerala will be given admission based on their B.Tech qualifying exam scores.

    Kerala M.Tech Reservation Criteria 2026

    Candidates belonging to certain categories will be eligible for Kerala M.Tech reservation as per the guidelines set by Govt. of India. Those candidates who will be applying for reservations will be required to produce the required certificates otherwise their reservation will be canceled. Kerala M.Tech Reservations for each category will be distributed after observing the general reservation rules of Kerala. Candidates belonging to SEBC (OBC) and OEC categories will have to produce a certificate that they belong to the community but do not belong to the Creamy Layer.

    Steps to fill Kerala M.Tech Admission 2026 Application Form

    The following steps can be referred to fill out the application form for Kerala M.Tech admission 2026 -

    Step 1 - Registration: In the first step, the candidates will have to register through the official website. Details such as name, date of birth, valid email ID, mobile number and more had to be submitted for registration.

    Step 2 - Filling of Kerala M.Tech Application Form: Next, the candidates will have to fill the application form with personal, academic, qualifying exam and contact details. Along with the details, the candidates must also select the preferred course and college.

    Step 3 - Payment of Application Fee: After filling out the application form, candidates will have to pay the application fee through challan. Candidates will have to take a printout of the system-generated challan and submit the fee at the specified branch of the State Bank of Travancore.

    Requirements for Nativity Certificate

    • Should be issued by the Village Officer.

    • Should have the same birthplace in Kerala mentioned in the certificate as it is registered in the Secondary School Leaving Certificate.

    • Should have an authentic copy of a relevant page of the candidate’s passport showing the place of birth in Kerala.

    • Must be a birth certificate that has been issued by a competent authority (Panchayat/ Municipality/ Corporation) mentioning the candidate’s place of birth in Kerala

    Kerala M.Tech Cutoff 2026

    The minimum marks required by the candidates for higher chances of admission will form the cutoff of Kerala M.Tech 2026. The authorities will release the Kerala M.Tech admission cutoff after each round of counselling is over. The authorities will consider various factors like the number of seats, number of candidates, previous year cutoff trends, and more for preparing the Kerala M.Tech admission cutoff 2026.

    Kerala M.Tech Counselling 2026

    If vacant seats are still left, the authorities will conduct a centralized spot admission. All of the candidates who are listed in the Kerala M.Tech rank list will be able to participate in the spot admission. On being selected through Kerala M.Tech spot admission, candidates will have to join the respective institutions/ colleges on the prescribed dates to pay the admission fee. In case, seats remain vacant even after the centralized spot admission, then the respective institutions can conduct their spot admission. A separate rank list will be prepared for the same.
