Step 2: Publication of Kerala M.Tech Merit List: DTE, Kerala has released the final merit list for Kerala M.Tech Counselling 2025 on July 4, 2025. The draft merit list will be published first, followed by the final one. The draft list is meant to help students understand their rank and verify their category, branch and choices. In case of a tie between two or more candidates, preference will be given to students with a higher percentage of marks up to the 6th semester. Seats will be filled with students of Kerala origin based on marks up to the 6th semester if there are less number of GATE qualified candidates.

Step 3: Kerala M.Tech Seat Allotment 2025: The selection committee of DTE Kerala will allot seats to candidates based on their rank, category and choices filled. Kerala M.Tech 2025 seat allotment has been published on the official website. Candidates who are allotted a seat will have to download their Kerala M.Tech seat allotment letter from the official website. Students who are not allotted any seat in the 1st round can modify their options or go for the second round of Kerala M.Tech seat allotment with the same choices. The result of the second round of Kerala M.Tech 2025 seat allotment will also be published on the website of DTE, Kerala.
Step 4: Payment of Seat Acceptance Fees: Candidates who are allotted seats through Kerala M.Tech Counselling 2025 have to pay ‘seat acceptance fees’ within the stipulated period at any State Bank of India branch. The fees paid by candidates will be transferred to the college whose seat is allotted. Candidates who do not get a seat or do not accept the seat and want to take part in the second round of the seat allotment process do not need to pay any fee. Those who will be allotted a seat after the second round of seat allotment will have to deposit the fees.
Kerala M.Tech Spot Admission
In case there are any vacant seats after the two rounds of the Kerala M.Tech seat allotment, the authorities will conduct a spot admission round. Only those candidates who have made it to the merit list will be eligible to participate in the Kerala M.Tech spot admission round. The seats will be allotted through centralized counselling in order of merit. Candidates who have already been admitted to any institute during round one or two of the seat allotment process must produce a “No Objection Certificate” to take part in the spot admission round.
