Jee main session 1 form if name is as per aadhar and session 2 if name is as per Marksheet is there any issue.pl advice.

sadafreen356 18th Nov, 2024

As per the new directive, all candidates are required to fill name as per their class 10 and Aadhar both in JEE mains form for any session.During counselling you might face some issue. And that's too because of different name on AADHAR.you should rectify your aadhar card name in order to avoid admission cancellation in future.

Moreover,10th Marksheet is usually needed to verify the D.O.B. So there will be no such issue with respect to 10th certificate.

Aadhar card is useful for present and permanent address proofs and thus correct name somehow become necessary over there.

i have filled my jee application form but my mothers name written in 10 marksheet is mamta and in aadhar card mamta walia so i filled my application form as per aadhar card mamta walia is that okay?

kumardurgesh1802 16th Nov, 2024

Hello Aastha,

Yes, it's okay to use your mother's name as per the Aadhaar card, "Mamta Walia," while filling out the JEE application form. However, during document verification or counseling, there could be a discrepancy between the 10th marksheet and Aadhaar card. To avoid future issues, keep an affidavit or a notarized document ready explaining the name difference, or get it corrected in either document if possible.

For more details, you can check out an article by Careers360 whose link is given below:

Can i write my first january jee session as general and april jee session as pwd.Is that possible?

Mitali Sharma 17th Nov, 2024

Hello

No , it's not possible to change your category status between different sessions of the JEE Mains exam . The category you mentioned at the time of your initial registration will apply to all the sessions you choose to appear for in that particular year .

Switching from General to PWD between sessions would require official documentation and category verification during the registration itself .

If you have valid PWD status and documentation , you should register under the PWD category from the beginning for consistency and accuracy in your application .

Hope this information helps you .

If you have any query drop message in comment section .

Jee mains preparation strategy

Annu Kumari 16th Nov, 2024

For the candidates wishing to do engineering from top IITs and NITs, jee mains is a good chance. JEE mains require hardwork and strategic planning other than just intelligence. To clear jee mains, it is important to focus on building paper attempting strategy rather than just studying. Some of the things to follow for jee mains prepration are.

. Know the concept -  you need to make the concept strong , don't just mug up the things , that won't help you solve questions

. Revision - revision is the key to remember things, the more you revise, the things will get imprinted on your brain.

. Give tests - don't wait to finish the whole syllabus, give mock tests. Giving more and more tests will help you a lot  for the final day exam.

. Analyse your performance - only solving the questions, won't help if you don't analyse your performance.  Analysing the performance in tests will help you find out your strong topics and weak topics and accordingly you can prepare for them.

. Solve previous year papers - solving last 5- 10 year previous year question papers will help you a lot with your exam . You will get clear idea about the standard of questions asked and weightage of various topics and repeated questions.
