I am a student studying in 12th class in the academic year 2021-22, I am not prepared for jee main and advanced this year,I want admission in IIST so I have doubt that if I give both jee main and jee advanced directly in 2023 without appearing in 2022 so can I will be eligible for admission in IIST?

As per the rules of JEE MAINS & ADVANCED if you want to don't appear for the JEE MAINS & ADVANCED 2022 then also you are eligible for the JEE MAINS & ADVANCED 2023 but there is a catch.

As per the notification released by IIT Bombay for JEE-Advance 2022, does not includes anything about 75% criteria, it only consists of points regarding maximum number of attempts which signifies that no new change has been introduced this year and 75% criteria  is relaxed for JEE-Advance.

Hello Young Aspirant!!!

If the condition lies such that you have qualified JEE Mains this year but didn't appear in JEE Advanced then also to be eligible for JEE Advanced 2022 you need to reappear in JEE Mains 2022 and obtain the Qualifying marks to be part of the IITs.

Hello Anushka,

You will be eligible for JEE Mains in 3 consecutive years from the year you finish your 12 th standard including that year. JEE Advanced can be attempted twice in consecutive years.

After qualifying JEE Mains only then you can appear in JEE Advanced entrance exam.

No you cannot appear for JEE-Advance 2023 because maximum allowed attempts for JEE-Advance are 2 and in 2 consecutive years that include one year passing class 12th so if you had passed in 2021 then you are only eligible for JEE-Advance 2022 now and you were also eligible
