The examination pattern of jee main & jee advanced are completely different from each other. Also, there's huge difference in difficulty level of jee main & jee advanced. Jee advanced question difficulty level is way higher than that of jee main question paper.

Having passed 10th in 2020, you should ideally pass 12th in 2022 itself. From your question it seems you have a gap year between 10th & 12th but it doesn't matter being 12th appearing for the first time in 2023, yes you will be eligible for both jee advanced
