When it comes to improvement examination after 12th, it's completely your choice whether you want to appear in 1 subject or all the subjects.

Guessing you from general category.

There's no minimum percentage requirement for each subject individually, it's for aggregate 12th marks i. e at least 75 % in aggregate of 5 subjects including physics, Chemistry, maths, one language and one any other subject other than these.
