The cut off marks for taking admission in IIT in post graduation courses of Engineering through gate XE exam of 2021 as previous years was for the general was : 37, for OBC NCL category student 33.33, for SC ST and PWD candidate 24.86 . So as you you have got 100 in GATE XE exam so your chance for getting it e for post graduation is possible.

As the third-year students are eligible for GATE it will be good if the candidates start their preparation from 2nd year itself. But remember that even if you crack the gate while you are in your third year, it will be of no use. You will have to give GATE in your 4th year as well. Giving GATE in 3rd year will boost your confidence in the final year. So it is advised that the candidate should give GATE in the 3rd year even if the scores are of no use. There can be few PSUs that will accept a year old GATE score for calling students for interviews.

This program should be one of these AICTE approved postgraduate courses: Master of Technology, Master of Engineering, Master of Pharmacy, and Master of Architecture.
The eligibility is : you must have a valid GATE score
Scholarship Amount : 12,400
Furthermore, it must be noted that : Post Graduate Scholarship is entitled only to those students who are admitted in the course with a valid GATE/GPAT score at the time of admission.
Any student who qualifies the GATE/GPAT exam after the date of admission shall not be eligible for grant of scholarship for the reasons whatsoever it may be.
