Dear,
Each subject has its own scope. Considering GATE Exam, it is quite competitive and tough. So, I would suggest you to choose your area kf interest. You can choose any subject of your interest. Then it will be easy for you to crack GATE exam as well.
If you wish to pursue Msc. in any subject ignoring GATE, then you can go for the subject you want to do Ph.d in. As Ph.d involves research work and thesis submission, that time you need to have great interest for this to pursue Ph.d well.
Hope this sorted your query.
Good Luck :)

Gate 2022 exam will be conducted by IIT Kharagpur on February 5, 6, 12, and 13. Preparing through GATE previous year questions helps candidates understand exam pattern in a better way.
Dear aspirant,
You first have to complete your graduation in Computer Science.
If have appeared for GATE, as from previous year GATE exam can be appeared by final year bachelor's degree student.
As GATE score is valid for 3 years for further studies i.e. Phd. You can easily avail Phd after Master's through this GATE score.
But for PSU's GATE score is valid only for an year.
As majority of the PSU's ask for Master's level students to recruit so there is very less chance for you to get any job through GATE now.

Hello aspirant
hope you are doing well and safe. As per your query , I would glad to inform you that for persuing mtech from IIT you need to have bachelors degree in engineering or science of 4 year duration . Since bsc is 3 year course only so you are not eligible for MTECH program from IIT
Hope you found this answer informative. Best wishes for your future
See if you crack GATE in your 3rd year then also you have to wait to complete your graduation but by that time you can participate in the GATE Counselling and can reserve your seat in the required NITs/IITs or any other institution because third year students are also eligible for GATE. During third year after the declaration of your GATE result you can apply for different institutions through GATE counselling which is conducted by Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) and Centralised Counselling for M.Tech/ M.Des (CCMT) and if the seat is allotted to you and you accept the seat then also you will have to wait till your graduation gets completed but your seat will be reserved.

Hi
Why did you apply twice?.. Have you opted for two papers?.. Either way only one form will be accepted and the other will be rejected according to a statement in the gate official website
"A candidate appearing in ONE or TWO Papers should fill ONLY ONE application form. In case of Multiple applications, only one will be accepted and remaining applications will be rejected without any refund for the paid fee."
Hope this helps!
