Hi, you need to be minimum in 6.0 CGPA. 60% aggregate is compulsory to get into any IITs. You can apply privately if you have a good GATE score the only difference will be that you won't get stipend. This is for Open category. If you belong to OBC, SC, ST or any other category there might be chances of getting into IIT. Hope this helps.

When anyone fill-up the form of GATE, one have to decide that he/she want to give two papers or one paper.
Here paper stands for exams, you can give two exams in a day or alternative days according to the GATE schedule or can give one exam as usual.
As you have selected Zoology Life Sciences in PAPER 1, and if you don't want to give any other exam on GATE, you shouldn't fill the box of Paper 2 it should be remain blank. Or if you want to give another exam of GATE you can fill that blank according to your interest, but taking consideration to the schedule.

The purpose of the GATE test is to test students' knowledge and understanding of their undergraduate studies in Engineering and Science. Every year lakhs of engineering graduates from universities and colleges of engineering. Congratulations for qualifying the GATE 2021 Examination. If you have qualified GATE 2021 examination then I would like to tell you that the GATE result is valid for 3 years. So even if you attempt the GATE next year and you couldn't qualify it, it should not be a problem.

Yes, you will get job in PSU. how? After clearing gate you have to apply at PSU (portal).Your GATE score cannot give you government jobs directly. You've to qualify interviews of PSUs or any other government office/department who may call you based on scores of all applicants after you apply for the post. - you will be shortlisted and called for final interview based on their GATE score.
