The university provides internship to students. Placements are not always offered. The average package is around 3 LPA and maximum package is around 6 LPA.

Mechanical Engineering have so many sub-branches like Aeronautical, Automobile, Thermal, Robotics, Materials Science etc. even bio-tech is also a sub branch of ME. Actually, all these courses will be there in your masters but nowadays people are including these branches in bachelors. Mechanical engineering is the mother of all these branches. So, you can do M.Tech in aeronautical. The subject will be full of the basic courses like Fluid mechanics, Heat transfer, Thermodynamics, FEA and you should be good in calculus.
If you want to do it in IIT’s then opt for GATE, my suggestion do M.S

Based on your rank in JEE Advanced, the chance of getting top IITs is very less. Do try with other private Institutes that accept JEE Advanced Score or apply for IISER.

There is a good chance that you may get goverment college in UP. The chances are there since you belong to OBC category.
It would have been better if you had mentioned your rank. The branches you may get include CS,Mechanical,Electrical,Civil,IT etc.
Harcourt Butler Technological Institute Kanpur, Institute of Engineering and Technology Lucknow,Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Handicapped Kanpur,Feroze Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology Raibareli etc. are good government colleges.

The last year cutoff of AU ECE BCD Women was 1399 for ECE and 1481 for CSE there will be some changes in the cutoff for this year as it fluctuates every year, try your luck, All The Best.
