About TNEA 2013: TNEA is the admission procedure conducted by the Anna University to provide admission to the best candidates for various courses in engineering in the colleges in Tamil Nadu.

TNEA 2013 Eligibility Criteria:

  • General: A minimum of 50% in Maths, Physics & Chemistry in Class XII/HSC or any equivalent board

  • BC (including muslims): A minimum of 45 % in Maths, Physics & Chemistry  in Class XII/HSC or any equivalent board

  • MBC & DNC: A minimum of 40 % in Maths, Physics & Chemistry  in Class XII/HSC or any equivalent board

  • SC/SCA/ST: A minimum of 35 % in Maths, Physics & Chemistry  in Class XII/HSC or any equivalent board

TNEA 2013 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who belong to other states: (open community only)

Candidates belonging to other states must satisfy at least one of the following conditions, to apply as Tamil Nadu candidate:

  • Candidates must have studied VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. in Tamil Nadu.

  • Children of Central Government Employees who are otherwise not domicile of Tamil Nadu may apply for admission,irrespective of their domicile if their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past FIVE YEARS at the time of submission of application.
    A certificate from the employer of the parent or guardian must be submitted to that effect.
  • Sons and daughters of All India Service Tamil Nadu cadre Officers otherwise not native of Tamil Nadu are eligible.
  • Children of Employees in Public Sector or Government recognised Institutions who at the time of submission of application for admission have been employed in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years may also apply, irrespective of their domicile. 
  • They have to submit a certificate from the employer stating that the person is a Permanent Employee of the Firm or Institution concerned with evidence like Income Tax return, PF Slip, etc. and has been working in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past FIVE YEARS.

Since you haven't taken 4 years of minimum education from telangana, you will be considered as non-local candidate.TS EAMCET us state level examinations and if you will apply as OBC candidate then you should have obc certificate of telangana,since you have OBC certificate of Maharashtra,you will have to apply as general candidate in TS EAMCET.

Is solving only NCERT problems in physics are enough for TS eamcet.

NCERTs are definitely the best books for any exam. NCERT and IPE textbooks are the key of success in EAMCET. Read and Practice NCERTs thoroughly. Beside this, try to solve previous years' exam papers - EAMCET 25 Years' Chapterwise solution and 5 Mock tests.

what will be my rank if get 50 marks in TS Eamcet.

Eamcet rank depends on the combined score that you get from eamcet score and board mark (75%eamcet+25%ipe).

To estimate your rank according to the scores you have obtained, you can use the online predictor available. The link to the rank predictor has been provided below. You will have to enter your 12th examination percentage and TS EAMCET marks in the predictor.


If your marks is around 50 your rank may be around 55k.

can I get reimbursement without submitting bank details in application form for ap and ts eamcet 2020

You need to provide all the essential details required while filling the application form for fee reimbursement through AP OR TS epass website.You need to give your bank details.Incomplete application form will be rejected and your fee may not be reimbursed.You need to submit the photocopy of the front page of your bank passbook while submitting the documents in your college along with other necessary documents.
