Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research Aptitude Test
Hi,
Hope you are doing well.
You question seems to be bit confusing. As per my knowledge, there is nothing such as Unreserved Ranking. So, considering 5.8K as your All India Rank.
Following are the closing rank based on IAT in year 2020:
IISER - Mohali
IATBS Program : 3546
IATIntegrated BS-MS Program : 3248
IISER : Pune
The closing rank for other IISERs is also around the range of 3250 CRL. So , With your CRL rank,it seems quite Difficult to get admission in IISER if cutoff remains similar to previous year .
I hope this will answer your query.
Thanks!!!!!!
Hello Buddy! Hope you're doing good.
As the bonus marks is given only when either the question is wrong or all the options are incorrect or two options are correct which is also in the depends on the exam conducting cell. This considerations are applied to all the candidates, irrespective of the fact that whether they have attempted the question or not. So this happens only when there's some mistake in the question paper otherwise you will not getting any bonus in the IAT. Hope this helps you.
ALL THE BEST! WORK HARD !!
Hello student,
Hope you are doing good, here's your answer.
Only the Students who have passed 10+2 level with science stream in 2020 or 2021, from any recognised board by CBSE, are eligible to apply for IISER aptitude test. However, they will be considered for admissions to the degree programmes only if they obtain the cut-off marks specified.
Hope this will help you.
Alll the best!!
The detailed eligibility criteria for IISER APTITUDE TEST with respect to application by board marks are:
1. The candidate must have marks within the category-wise cut-off above for their respective Class XII (or equivalent) Board examination for being eligible to get admission to IISERs.
2. For candidates who appeared in the Class XII (or equivalent) Board examination for the first time in 2020 and reappeared in any subject (for whatsoever reason) in 2021, the better of two performances will be considered.
3. If a Board gives aggregate marks considering both Class XI and Class XII examinations (in the 10+2 system), then only Class XII marks will be considered. If a Board gives aggregate marks considering the results of all three years of a 3-year diploma or courses of equivalent duration, then only the marks scored in the final year will be considered. Similarly, for boards which follow a semester system, the marks scored in the final two semesters will be considered.
4. If a Board awards only letter grades without providing an equivalent percentage of marks on the grade -sheet, the candidate should obtain a certificate from the Board specifying the equivalent marks and submit it before the deadline of the mark-sheet submission. In case such a certificate is not provided by the Board, meeting minimum eligibility criteria will be assessed as follows: If CGPA/CPI is reported on any scale other than 10 (for example, 4 points or 8 points scale), an equivalent CGPA/CPI will be calculated as per the following formula: CGPA/CPI in a 10 point scale = (CGPA/CPI Obtained×10)/PS. Finally, the marks will be linearly scaled out of 500.
Hope it helps.
Dear Student,
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) is going to conduct IISER aptitude test on September 17, 2021. The authorities invite admissions in 5-year BS-MS degree courses through three channels namely JEE Advanced, KVPY, and SCB. The student who wants to apply through the SCB channel needs to appear in the IISER aptitude test 2021.
Candidates applying for JEE Advanced or KVPY channel are provided direct admissions. The IISER aptitude test 2021, a computer-based test (CBT), 3-hour multiple-choice paper having 60 questions will be conducted in online mode. Separate application processes will be done for all three different modes of admission. There are seven participating institutes taking admission through IISER.
