RGIPT B.Tech Admission 2026 - The Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Jais, Amethi, will soon announce the RGIPT B.Tech 2026 admission dates on the official website, rgipt.ac.in. The RGIPT 2026 application process will begin in March 2026. Aspirants are advised the check the eligibility criteria before applying. The RGIPT B.Tech application form 2026 will include several steps such as fee payment, registration, form filling, document uploading, preview, and final submission. RGIPT provides B. Tech admission based on JEE Main or JEE Advanced scores. The authority conducts the admission process in several rounds.

Candidates wishing to pursue B.Tech courses can apply to the college in online mode. It is to be noted that the authority does not conduct any other exam. Admissions are done solely based on performance in JEE Advanced or Mains. The RGIPT round 2 counselling is only dedicated to candidates eligible for JEE Advanced (but not qualified).

The authorities will soon commence the RGIPT B.Tech application form on the official website. Given below is the step-by-step guide to fill the online application form for RGIPT B.Tech admission 2026:
Step 1 - Registration - Visit the official web portal and click on the link to register for RGIPT B.Tech 2026 admissions. Provide necessary details. A registration number and password will be generated.
Step 2 - Payment of Application Fee - Applicants will have to login and have to pay the RGIPT B.Tech application fee. The same can be paid online using credit card/ debit card/ internet banking/ UPI.

Step 3 - Fill Personal Details- Candidates can proceed with the submission of other details in the RGIPT B.Tech 2026 application form. They will have to provide personal details, contact information, academic qualifications, JEE Main or JEE Advanced details, etc. After submitting all the information, candidates have to save and continue with the next step.
Step 4 - Uploading Documents - Candidates will have to upload a scanned copy of their signature and a passport-sized photograph with the given dimensions

Step 5 - Final Submission - As a last step, applicants must review their application. If there is no need for changes, candidates may click on the Save button and finally submit. Download the confirmation page for future reference.
RGIPT provided the detailed eligibility criteria for RGIPT B.Tech admission 2026, which the candidates have to fulfill for successful admission. Candidates who are found ineligible at any stage will have their candidature cancelled.

Once the application process is over, the authorities will prepare a candidate selection list called the merit list for RGIPT B.Tech admissions 2026. It is purely based on the candidate’s performance in the JEE Main/Advanced 2026 examination. However, the merit list preference will be given to JEE (Advanced) qualified candidates. Candidates shortlisted in the provisional RGIPT merit list for B.Tech will have to pay the registration fee as mentioned in the table below:

The provisional merit list shall be followed by the release of the final RGIPT 2026 B.Tech merit list. Candidates having their names in this list will have to pay the remaining admission fee for the B.Tech course.
The authorities will release the cutoff ranks for RGIPT B.Tech 2026 admissions, which shall be applicable for respective admissions into engineering. Until the RGIPT BTech cutoff 2026 is officially announced, candidates can refer to the previous year’s merit list for guidance and a better understanding of the expected cutoff trends.
