Physics: In Physics, the level of difficulty was moderate to slightly hard, with a combination of numerical and conceptual questions. Important topics were Mechanics, Current Electricity, Electromagnetism, and. Students usually had 4–5 numericals that needed precise calculation, accompanied by some straightforward theory-based questions based on NCERT. Time management was very important because of the inclusion of long problem-solving questions. The MET 2025 paper analysis can be analyzed by this.
Chemistry: In Chemistry, the paper was overall easy to moderate. Most of the questions were theory-based, particularly from Organic and Inorganic Chemistry. Physical Chemistry added a few numerical questions but was mostly formula-based. Questions were mostly NCERT-based, and students who studied NCERT textbooks found this section easy.
Mathematics: It was generally found to be moderate to challenging. Questions such as Calculus, Algebra, Coordinate Geometry, and Probability were quite common. Conceptual clarity and speed were needed in the section as there were some tricky and time-consuming questions. Smart question selection and accuracy were the major factors in performing well in this section. You can do MET 2025 analysis of Maths on the basis of previous year trends.
English and Logical Reasoning: The English and Logical Reasoning sections were relatively easier. All the best!
Hello,
To improve your MET (Manipal Entrance Test) performance using previous year mock tests , here’s a step-by-step guide to develop proper test-attempting skills :
Set a timer : 2 hours 30 minutes for the full test (Physics, Chemistry, Math, English, Aptitude).
Create an exam-like environment : No distractions, just like the real test.
Use only pen, paper, and calculator (if allowed) .
Quickly glance through all questions.
Mark the ones you can solve easily.
Attempt only easy and quick questions first.
Don’t waste time on anything lengthy or confusing.
Attempt questions that need more thinking or calculation.
Try tough or skipped questions only if time permits .
Avoid guessing if you’re unsure—MET has no negative marking, but time is better spent on confident attempts.
Review all mistakes : Identify whether it was a silly mistake, conceptual error, or time pressure.
Categorize questions : Easy / Medium / Hard — focus more on medium-level ones in next mocks.
Track timing per section to improve speed.
Math : Prioritize speed and accuracy in algebra, calculus, and coordinate geometry.
Physics & Chemistry : Practice conceptual and formula-based questions.
English & Aptitude : These are scoring—practice grammar, comprehension, and logical puzzles.
