Hi Akanksha!

The MET (Manipal Entrance Test) for MCA usually follows a fairly straightforward pattern. It consists of 100 questions divided into the following sections: Mental Ability, Basic Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, and General English. Each question carries 1 mark and there is no negative marking, which is a plus point. The exam is online and typically lasts for 90 minutes.

It is not a mistake that CSE, ECE, and EEE branches are not showing in mock counselling of TG EAPCET 2025 under self finance category in JNTU Hyderabad, because mock counselling is only for practice and not full list is given, colleges sometimes show only few branches to help students understand the process, so you do not need to worry, in the real counselling round, full options like CSE, ECE, and EEE will come according to your rank and college seat availability, mock counselling is just to try and learn how to select options and understand allotment steps, it does not mean that branches are removed, when first round starts officially, all proper courses will be shown, so you must wait and check again during actual counselling and then fill the choices carefully, do not panic by seeing only MMS and MET in mock list, the full branches will come at the correct time, just follow the schedule and updates from official website and be ready with your list of choices.

Hello aspirant,
With a rank around 33,500, your chances of getting Computer Science Engineering (CSE) in top-tier government colleges in Jaipur like MNIT or RTU-affiliated government colleges are quite low, as CSE is a highly in-demand branch. However, you may still have a decent chance in private engineering colleges in and around Jaipur. Colleges such as JECRC, Poornima College of Engineering, SKIT, and Arya College often accept students with ranks in this range, especially under state counselling like REAP (Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process).

If you're from a reserved category or female quota, your chances improve significantly. Keep an eye on all counselling rounds, and don’t hesitate to fill in CSE as a first preference in multiple colleges. Also consider related branches like IT or ECE, which often have similar job prospects and may be available at slightly lower ranks.
