Make a schedule -
The first step towards planning a preparation strategy is to make a schedule of what topics to cover and when to cover. The next important and difficult step is to stick to that schedule which requires a huge amount of motivation and dedication. Ensure that the schedule prepares includes a little bit of play (relaxation time) rather than having all work.
Get familiar with the syllabus -
Go through the syllabus before starting with your preparation to get a better understanding of how to proceed with the preparation. The syllabus of the previous year is mentioned in the table below:

Admission to M.E/M.Tech in Telangana is based on merit in GATE and TS PGECET. The priority is given to GATE qualified applicants, in other words the seats are first filled with the candidates who have qualified in GATE and then remaining seats are filled with the candidates who have qualified in TS PGECET. So you have slim chances of getting seat in University College of Engineering, Osmania University as you have qualified in GATE. The seats are filled through single window counselling that is through TS PGECET. As of now the schedule for TS PGECET 2021 counselling through GATE is not yet published. SO you have to wait to register for the counselling. The counselling will start once the TS PGECET results are declared. We would suggest you to visit the official website regularly to check the updates. Once the application window for TS PGECET through GATE is opened you can apply for it. The link to the official website is given here
please don't join in CEG ...I completed my BE there...It was hell
As you mentioned that your gate score is 615 and you have got all india rank 214, you will easily top IITs in biotechnology . As per my view biotechnology is best in IIT Madras and you can easily get there . Its cut off generally stays under 700 rank.
For cut off you can check out the link given below-
see cutoff score changes every year and it varies with certain factors like number of applicants for any particular stream, students category, choice of stream and so on. however based on previous years score analysis 719 score is challenging and have good chances to be select for bits pilani. however this prediction is based on previous years score and might changes time to time depends on gate papers and level of difficulty.
apart from bits you have decent chances for top five nits, iiits .
