Hi Darshana!

Before starting preparation first you should know the exam pattern and proper weightage for all the concepts. This can be known by analysing the previous year papers. Then for starting first find the best books and if you are interested in coaching you can find best coaching centers or you can apply for coaching online also there they will let you know the important topics or else to prepare without coaching then you need to have a proper plan checkout these links given below for further queries:

How to prepare for gate 2021(currently in 6th sem)? Is this much of time sufficient for 2021?

niharika cherry 6th Dec, 2019

Hello kaushik, yes,the time is sufficient for preparation for Gate 2021, if you are currently enrolled into any gate coaching, continue that, if not take a good online gate coaching but if you feel you can prepare on your own, then self study is the best. Make a good time table and dedicate those hours for your gate, check the cutoffs, be knowledged about the syllabus, exam time, pattern and previous years question paper. For any other information check .

Hope this helps.

Thank you.

GATE ka paper nhi diya hai to mtech me admission mill sakti hai kya

Aditi Amrendra Student Expert 6th Dec, 2019

If you don't appear in GATE then you will not get admission in top institutes like IITs but you may get admission in private colleges without GATE.
The are some private institutions that conduct entrance test on their own often called CET and PG entrance test. You can appear in these exams and if you score well you can get admission to M.Tech.

I hope this helps.

i got 55 percentage in btech. can i apply for psu jobs or iit for mtech. I belongs to st category where my gate score is good .

Aditi Amrendra Student Expert 6th Dec, 2019

With only 55% in your, it will ve very difficult for you to get a job in good MNCs.I will advise you to go for GATE exam and try to geta good rank and score and once you get in a good college for M.Tech the you will surely get a good placement.

Good Luck
