BITSAT Counselling 2024
The concerned authorities will conduct the BITSAT counselling registration process in online mode. The authorities have announced the BITSAT counselling dates on the official website. It may be noted that only BITSAT 2024 qualified candidates will be able to participate in the counselling process. The process involved during the BITS counselling is as follows:
BITSAT Counselling Process 2024
Online Registration - To start with the BITSAT 2024 counselling, candidates have to first enter basic information at the BITSAT 2024 candidate portal. They have to provide details like their name, mobile number, email ID, etc. All the information has to be entered carefully as there will not be any scope for corrections in mistakes.
Submission of Marks - Candidates have to provide details of subject-wise marks obtained in class 12 exam. Those candidates whose results are awaited will have to download the BITSAT counselling application form 2024 and send it to the authorities after their class 12 results are announced. They have to write “Original form already submitted, 12th standard marks being submitted now” on top of the application form.

I would suggest that you start upgrading your preparation for JEE Main second session. BITSAT questions are easier than JEE Main and require recollection of the appropriate formulae. The questions asked in JEE Main are more conceptual and require deep knowledge of concepts and techniques. So, a student preparing for JEE Main can easily appear for the BITSAT exam as well. The major difference in the syllabus of the two exams is the presence of English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning in the BITSAT.
What you can do is, alongwith JEE Preparation, you can also start preparing for Eng. and logical reasoning. That ways, you’d be easily able to cover both the exams.
While JEE Main is for admission in government engineering colleges, central and also for several states. BITSAT is only for the various campuses of one of the private colleges in India. So JEE definitely opens up more options.

The applicant has passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and adequate proficiency in English; Also, the applicant has obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in PCM in 12th examination, with at least 60% .

Qualifications for BITSAT:
- The class 12 or equivalent test (from any state or central board of school education) must have been passed by the candidates.
- In the qualifying exam, they had to have received at least 75% of the possible points in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.
- They should have received 60% grades in each of the three topics individually in addition to the 75% total.
So if you will not get 75% you will not be eligible.
