As per previous year cutoffs the closing rank for CSE :

• VIT Velllore is 13500
• VIT Chennai is 14000

Sorry, you are not eligible to an admission in VIT VELLORE as it is one of the Top colleges and it's cutoffs are very high. According to previous years cutoffs. It would be difficult for you to get a seat in this campus.

I would suggest you to look for another college or entrance exam or you can drop a year and study hard for next year's exam.

Dear Aspirant, both the options means with the rank of the mains you can go for a very good college by counceling. And with the rank of the vit entrance examination you can join vit with good stream. So please go for both the counceling.

As per your rank ,it is not possible to get admission in any of the VITs as their cut off is quite high . Students with rank Maximum upto 40,000 are eligible for admission in vit. You may further check this below mentioned link to get a glance on their cut offs

Hi Gaurav.Yes you can get admission in VIT vellore. But you will not be getting it in 1st category.You will be getting it in higher categories.It also depends on your desired branch and desired course.You can

get other branches in 1st categories in other branches in other campuses.So it depends on your interests towards your branch selection and category selection.

Hi anish.Yes you can get admission in vit.Better you try for vit bhopal campus.You can get a seat over there.You can also try for good courses like cs  in that campus .But I donot say that you will get them in the first category itself.You may or maynot get good courses like cs  in first category.But you will surely get  seat in  vit bhopal for your rank.

Hope you are doing well.
With 15718 rank in VITEEE, there is no probability of you getting CSE at the VIT Vellore campus, since in the previous years, the closing rank was around 7k-8k.
Also, IT in VIT Vellore is a little probable as for previous years it closed for 17k in 2017 and 12k in 2016.
But, you have complete chances for CSE at VIT Chennai campus( closed at 33k) if you like to give it a shot.
