Prachi Kumari 28th Dec, 2024

Hello,

Yes, you will be eligible for JEE Advanced 2025-26. Here's why:

  1. Eligibility Criteria : Candidates can attempt JEE Advanced a maximum of two times in consecutive years after passing Class 12.

  2. Class 12 Passing Year : Your valid Class 12 passing year will be considered 2024-25 since you are reappearing as a regular candidate.

  3. First JEE Advanced Attempt : You can attempt JEE Advanced in 2025, immediately after your Class 12.

  4. Second JEE Advanced Attempt : You will also be eligible for JEE Advanced in 2026 as it is the next consecutive year.

Your medical condition won't affect eligibility if criteria are met.

Will I be eligible for jee advanced 2025 and 2026 as they mentioned in their website that your attempts count from first appearance in class 12th, will my attempts count from 2024-2025 as this is the year i will be passing my class 12th

Prachi Kumari 28th Dec, 2024

Hello,

Yes, you will be eligible for JEE Advanced in 2025 and 2026. Here's why:

  1. Eligibility Criteria: JEE Advanced attempts are counted from the year of first passing Class 12th, not the year you enrolled or appeared for the exams.
  2. Passing Year: Since you were unable to complete Class 12th in 2023-2024 due to medical reasons and are now appearing in 2024-2025, this will be considered your first passing year.
  3. Attempt Count: As per JEE Advanced rules, candidates are allowed two consecutive attempts in the year they pass Class 12th and the following year. For you, this means:
  4. First attempt: JEE Advanced 2025.
  5. Second attempt: JEE Advanced 2026.
  6. Medical Grounds: Your absence in 2023-2024 does not count as a passing attempt, as you did not qualify Class 12th that year.

Ensure your medical records are properly documented for any clarifications if required.

So since my first appearance in class 12th boards was in the year 2024 but I was absent in all my board exams, will I be eligible for jee advanced 2025 and 2026?

sadafreen356 28th Dec, 2024

No, as per JEE eligibility criteria for candidates is 12th appearing and next year to that only it doesn't matters whether you give your exams or not only what matters is that you studied in class 12.JEE Advanced allows only one year dropper to sit for the examination. Double droppers are allowed in JEE Mains but not in JEE Advanced.

So you can attempt JEE advance in this year only from the next year which is 2025 yo can attempt only jee mains.

i have completed my 11th in 2022-23 but due to some chronic medical condition i dropped the year and was absent in all my class 12th papers now Im reappearing in class 12rh as a regular candidate in the year 2024-25, will i be eligible in jeeadvanced 2025 and 2026 .

monag2673 5th Nov, 2024

Yes, you will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced in 2025 and 2026.

The eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced allow candidates to attempt the exam in the year they complete their Class 12th and one consecutive year afterward. Since you are reappearing for Class 12th in the academic year 2024-25 due to health reasons, your official year of Class 12th completion will be considered 2025. This means you are eligible to appear in JEE Advanced in both 2025 and 2026.

The authorities understand that candidates may face unavoidable circumstances, such as health issues, that require them to defer their studies. Eligibility for JEE Advanced is based on the year in which Class 12th is completed, not the year it was initially scheduled. Since you are completing your Class 12th in 2025, you meet the necessary timeline to take JEE Advanced in the next two consecutive years.

Make sure to fulfill any other specific requirements, like the minimum marks criteria in the necessary subjects. Focus on your health and studies, knowing you’re fully eligible to pursue JEE Advanced when you're ready.

Like I am giving 3 to 4 competitive exam in the upcoming months. Those are 1. NDA (National Defence Academy) / NA (Naval Academy) 2. Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCERT) 3. IIT JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) => Mains & Advanced 4. CUET (Common University Entrance Test) So, if I get a good rank in both NDA & JEE / KCET / CUET, which of the exams should I prefer to go to? NDA or others? Because if I get good in Defence, then I shall pursue my career in Defence. Please do guide me over this career examinations.

kumardurgesh1802 26th Oct, 2024

Hello Ashwin,

Choosing between a career in the National Defence Academy (NDA) and other fields via JEE, KCET, or CUET ultimately depends on where your passion and career goals lie. Both paths have distinct futures and demands, and here’s a breakdown to guide your decision:

  1. National Defence Academy (NDA):

    • Career and Training : NDA offers a career in the armed forces with a focus on physical endurance, leadership, discipline, and a lifestyle dedicated to national service. You’ll undergo rigorous training at the academy, leading to positions in the Army, Navy, or Air Force, depending on your interests and performance.

    • Commitment : A career in defense is a lifetime commitment, often with restrictions on flexibility and civilian work options but comes with job security, honor, and lifelong benefits.

    • Growth and Opportunities : The military has a defined hierarchy, and there’s scope for advancement based on merit and experience.

  2. Engineering and Other Streams (via JEE, KCET, CUET):

    • JEE (IIT/NIT) : With a high JEE score, you can enter premier institutes like IITs or NITs, giving you an engineering career path with potential opportunities in tech, research, or even management (if you later opt for an MBA). This path is more versatile, with possibilities across various industries.

    • KCET : Provides similar opportunities within Karnataka’s leading state engineering colleges. The engineering or medical fields here offer a stable and respected profession, but the prestige may differ from that of IITs/NITs.

    • CUET : A high CUET score opens doors to top central universities for various courses, leading to a range of careers depending on your chosen field.

If you have a strong passion for serving the country and find the military lifestyle appealing, NDA might be the right path. However, if you are inclined towards engineering, technology, or a flexible career with civilian opportunities , a path through JEE, KCET, or CUET would provide broader options.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.
