So, as per your marks and rank you have very high chances of getting a seat in Assam Engineering College.However,cutoffs varies every year depending on factors like seat availability,number of candidates appeared,cutoff trends,difficulty level of exam and category of candidate.

see cutoff score changes every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, choice of stream in engineering, students category etc. however you have to get more the cutoff score declared by the university to get admission. however at this score you have less chances in selection if you belongs to general category.

Now, see, there are total 420 seats in AEC. As no. of seats are less cutoff marks are a little bit high.
For mechanical (60seats) rank required : 1-150
For civil (60 seats) rank required: 1-300
For electrical (90 seats) rank required: 1-400
For electronics (60 seats) rank required: 1-500
For cse (20 seats) rank required: 1-700
