Sir my rank is 1887 and I belong to ST(h) category. Is there any chance of getting seat in AEC or JEC?

Sameera 2nd Jun, 2019

Hi, Nirmaly.

By your rank, your approximate marks will be between 120 and 130

For the cee counseling,  the minimum marks that are required for a student belonging to your category is 41 to 45

The minimum cutoff marks for admissions in aec for your category is 94.

The minimum cutoff marks for admissions in jec for your category is 93.

So, you'll surely be able to get into both jec and aec.

Good luck.

I score 60(rank- 3656) in CEE,Assam and belongs to SC category. Can I get admission in JEC Jorhat or AEC, Guwahati ?

Hello Gautam
See  your rank is bit high to get you into this college, even you belong to SC category then also you will not get a seat in Assam Engineering college (AEC) or Jorhat engineering college (JEC). Rather than that you may get Jorhat institute of science and technology (JIST) but you may not get perferable branch. Hope for the best, participate in the counseling you may also get jorhat engineering college (JEC). Hope these will help you.
Good luck.

I got 124 marks in cee 2019 and my rank is 1072. Can I get seat in AEC or JEC in CSCA?

Abhinav 31st May, 2019
Hi Ankit
As you may be knowing that AEC is one of the most demanded college under CEE Assam.
So there's a huge competition to get in there and only rankers get chance.
As you have secured 124 marks (1072 rank) in CEE 2019  so definitely you have no chance for getting admission in AEC.
But you may be able to make it to JEC .
But, your probability of getting CS branch is a bit difficult. However, there are some chances that you could make it .
So, I would advice you to go for the counseling process and look For the college which suits you best according to your branch.

With 133 marks in Assam CEE with a rank of 912. Can i get mechanical branch in AEC and JEC??

Himadeep Nath Mazumder 30th May, 2019
Hello Deep
See normally speaking about top rankers those who are in between 1-80 there are very few students who take admission through CEE because they already crack JEE main and talking about your rank, your rank is good enough to get mechanical branch in Jorhat engineering college (JEC). As Assam Engineering college (AEC) have a stronger side in mechanical so there will be tough chances for you to get there. Hope it will help you.
All the best

Which is better for Mechanical engineering between AEC and JEC??

Deepjyoti Patowary 4th Apr, 2022

Obviously Assam Engineering College will be the better option for you. It provides you excellent placement opportunities. Also, the faculty and staff of AEC-Mechanical is too good with a fair student-teacher ratio. The course is also NBA accredited, which gives global recognition to your degree. AEC-Mechanical is also offers MTech and PhD facilities.

I get 804 rank in cee 2019 (141mark) I belong to obc .nd I have 50% marks in hs.will I get admission aec or jec

Arnimesh 30th May, 2019

Hey, you did well!

Well According to the cutoff list of CEE 2018 you need to score about 70 to 80 Marks in your CEE . This pattern remains almost same every year.

So,as far for the Obc category you need to have a score of maximum 75 and above to get admission in top colleges and you can have your 10+2 percentage 63.45 or below to qualify for the 2nd round

In order to get admission in JEC OR AEC you must score 70 and above to get into the counselling process

All the best!

hi sir i have got 74 mark in cee 2019 .have any chanch to get sit in govt. college?

ALIND DWIVEDI 30th May, 2019

Hello

There are many factors deciding assam cee cutoff:

  • The total number of seats available across all institutes.
  • Total number of applicants who have qualified for entrance examination.
  • Previous year cutt off

Assam CEE cutoff changes every year , average cutoff would be

  • General 130-135
  • Obc 125 -128
  • SCST 110-120

If you belong to general category there are very less chances for you to get into colleges like JEC/ AEC because your rank should be under 1000. But keep trying

Thankyou
