Sir,i have got 86 marks in Assam cee 2019 and my rank is 2095.I am from obc -ncl .will I get any government engineering college?

Ritwik 29th May, 2019

Last year we saw a decline in the cut-off marks for the colleges of Assam CEE counselling. The cut-off for OBC-ncl will be same as that of general category.

The cut-off was a little less than 100 I believe. Hence I think it would be difficult for you to get admission in any government institute.

All the best!

I got 2061 rank (general category) in CEE 2019, will I get a seat in JEC .

Sameera 29th May, 2019

Hi, Hitesh.

Jorhat Engineering college is one of the most prominent colleges in assam

The current intake of students into the college is 315

So, approximately with your 2061 rank your marks will be between 80 to 95.

The minimum cutoff marks which makes you eligible for jec based on your general category is 105.

So, you can't get into jec but you can try it under state quota and try in the counselling for any branch that is left.

Regards.

My rank is 3200 n i belong to st(p) . Can get admission in jec or jist

Sameera 29th May, 2019

Hi, samiran.

Jec and jist are the prominent colleges in assam.

They offer undergraduate courses.

The current intake of the students in these colleges is 315 and 120 respectively.

By your rank 3200, your marks will be approximately between 40 and 50, through which you're not eligible for both of the colleges through first counselling, As the minimum cutoff marks that are required to get into these colleges are from 90 to 95.

But you can try for the second counselling in which many of the seats are left without being taken for the admissions into these colleges

Regards.

Will I get jorhat engineering college jec with 1076 rank in assam cee 2019 ( I belong to OBC category).

Abhinav 28th May, 2019
Hi uddipan
Since you have secured 1076 rank (OBC category)  in CEE 2019 so definitely it's very hard for you to secure set in JEC.
However if you managed to get a seat in JEC you won't be able to get good branch there.
But, definitely you will get a seat along with good branch in other engineering college under Assam CEE

Sir , I have secured 838 rank in cee , would I be able to get civil engineering branch in AEC or JEC as I belongs to obc-ncl category....

Abhinav 28th May, 2019
Hi raunak
You have secured 838 rank in CEE Assam 2019 which is good but not good enough to secure your seat in AEC(specially in branches like Mech)
But you might get civil branch in AEC but your chances are not much higher.
But definitely you will get any branch you like whether civil, mech.cse... in JEC.
So it's a bit for you to get civil branch in AEC since your chances are very low.
But, of course you will get it in JEC

I got 65 marks in cee 2019 and i belong to st category. Can i get admission in jec or jist

Abhinav 28th May, 2019
Hi aspirant
As you have scored 65 marks in CEE 2019 from ST category which is not much good enough to secure your seat in top engineering college under CEE Assam.
So, you won't be getting admission to good institute like AEC.
However, you might get a seat in JEC which is also a good college but won't get good branch .
But definitely you will get good branch in other college under Assam .
So you can try for them.

Himadeep Nath Mazumder 27th May, 2019
Hello!!!
Congratulations on securing a good rank in CEE exam. As per your rank you can get both Assam Engineering college (AEC) and Jorhat engineering college J(EC). But you may not get desired branch in AEC whereas you will be having more branch option in JEC. Hope you get your college.
All the best.

With 106 marks on CEE, would I expect a seat on government engineering college as general

Abhinav 27th May, 2019
Hi bishan
As you have secured 106 marks in CEE 2019 which is itself not so pretty good enough.
So, definitely you won't be able to make it to best engineering colleges under CEE like AEC.
But, definitely you will get a set in some of the engineering college under CEE
