Shivam 11th Jun, 2019
Hi,
Your score is very great and I can assure you that you will get the best college under Assam cee.
I think you will get
Bineswar Brahma Engineering College, Kokrajhar
Or
Jorhat Institute of Science & Technology, Jorhat
Or
Jorhat Engineering College, Jorhat.

The above mentioned three colleges are best in their self.

Hope it helps!

Sir my rank is 1543. Do I have any chance to get in any of the colleges under assam cee.I belong to general category.

Himadeep Nath Mazumder 12th Jun, 2019
Hello Monsumon
Hope you are doing well!! See as CEE counseling is going on and as per merit list you are not eligible in 1st phase of counseling. As you belong to general category and with that particular rank you will not get Assam Engineering college (AEC) or Jorhat engineering college (JEC). But you may get Jorhat institute of science and technology (JIST) or Bineswar brahma engineering college (BBEC) or Barak valley engineering college. Only if there remains seats after completion of 1st phase of counseling. As per previous year cut off you can get but it may vary to as in current year the counseling is happening before JEE mains counseling. Hope for the best rather than if you don't get any government colleges then you can go for private colleges there are some colleges which accepts admission with CEE rank. Hope these will help you.
Good luck.

My cee rank is 2535 and I belong to SC caste, will i get AEC college

Abhinav 10th Jun, 2019
Hi aspirant
As you may be knowing that AEC is amongst the best college under CEE Assam.
So, it's a tough job to get in there and to do so you need to do better.
As per your rank your chances in getting a seat in AEC is very low and most probably you wouldn't make it to AEC.

Sir,will Subjected to availability of seat ranks holders get seat in any Govt engineering college under CEE ?

Souradeep_1559130577 Student Expert 11th Jun, 2019

Hello Ravishakar,

Subjected to availability means that you may get a chance to get seat in subsequent rounds of counselling procedure. If you have not gotten seat in the first round itself then don't lose hope. Many who got a seat earlier may later withdraw because they have either got seat in any better college or they want to pursue their education out of station. So hope for the best! You may even get a seat in Assam Engineering College ( I am assuming you are from engineering) if your rank is good enough. Attend the subsequent rounds of counselling without fail. Hope this answer helps!

Main class 12 mein hu abhi..mein AEC mei admission krna chahata hu pls mam/sir mera Assam cee mein kitna rank hona chahiye ..(OBC ncl)

Himadeep Nath Mazumder 10th Jun, 2019
Hello Lalit
Hope you are doing well. Well if you want to persue engineering in Assam Engineering college (AEC) then just go through NCERT books. And regarding your query what your rank should be, well if you belong to general category then your rank must be below 600, and if you belong to any other reserved category then it will be ok if your rank remains below 900. But i would like to prefer you that you should focus on NIT's IIIT's and IIT's if you crack JEE mains or JEE advanced then you will be having quality education as compared to AEC because AEC is a state engineering college. And in NIT's and IIT's there you will be having more opportunities to set a bright future. Hope these will help you regarding any query feel free to ask in comment section.
Good luck.
