Assam Combined Entrance Examination
Hello Segal,
Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech courses have to meet the Assam CEE 2018 cutoff determined by the competent authority. Each of the participating institutes have their own category and course-specific cutoff which depends on various factors. The cut off for the General category is around 100 – 110 and has been more or less the same over the years considering the other factors that determine it. Candidates who meet the cutoff are invited for further admission rounds of Assam CEE.
For determining the cutoff, each college has its cutoff specified separately. The cutoff off is usually course and institution specific. The cut off being the minimum marks required for admission, any one not meeting the cutoff marks will be no longer considered for Assam CEE seat allotment.
The following institutions would be taking part in the same -
1- Bineswar Brahma Engineering College, Kokrajhar
2- Assam Engineering College, Guwahati
3- Jorhat Engineering College, Jorhat
4- Jorhat Institute of Science & Technology, Jorhat
I hope this helped.
All the best!

Hey Sonakshi,
AICTE student information format is a format made by All India Council Of Technical Education for getting or arranging student details in a proper format. To get further details you should see the student details pdf once. For getting the pdf you can use the link mentioned below :

All the best.
No, that is not true. Counselling with respect to getting seats in an institute when its done online is on the same day for everyone. Then there are various rounds depending upon the exam which allots you institutes based on how many people have accepted the seat. The longer you wait to accept your seat, the better the chances of you getting a seat in a college/branch which you put higher in your preference. I hope this helped, please ask anything else if you have doubts.
Yes, i know that there is separate reservation criteria for sc studenys in jee main. But as per sc students counselling date if ypu atre not present there then if you are a son of central government employees ,you are not allowed for anothe date counaelling. As you may contact to jee main counselling authorities
Hello Ankit
First of all congratulations on securing a good rank in CEE exam. With this rank you will be definitely get a seat in government colleges under CEE. There is little chances for you to get Assam Engineering college (AEC) as it is counted on top colleges under CEE but you may not get desired branch in AEC, rather than that you can get Jorhat engineering college (JEC) or Jorhat institute of science and technology (JIST) there you will be having more branch option and you can get your preferable branch.
All the best
