Qualification for TIET M.Tech Admission

GATE Score

Merit based on class 12th and qualifying exam marks

Minimum Marks in Qualifying Examination

Candidates should have scored at least 60% marks in their qualifying degree.

*There is a relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/ Industry sponsored candidates i.e. minimum 55% marks in aggregate.

Other details

In M.E./M.Tech. programs offered by CSED, MED, CED and ECED.

In other Departments/ Schools, remaining vacant seats will be filled on merit basis prepared by giving 30% weightage to class 12 marks and 70% weightage to B.E./B.Tech. marks

OR

In case M.Sc. is qualifying exam, the seats remaining vacant shall be filled on the basis of merit prepared by giving 50% weightage to B.Sc. marks and 50% weightage to M.Sc. marks. Overall minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/Industry sponsored) in M.Sc. shall be required to be eligible for admission.
