JEXPO Counselling 2020 - West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development will conduct the counselling of JEXPO 2020 for admission on 19,000 self-financed seats in various polytechnics across the state. JEXPO 2020 counselling will be conducted in online mode and will have various rounds. Only candidates who will qualify JEXPO will be eligible to participate in the counselling. Candidates will have to register online through the counselling portal to participate in the counselling of JEXPO 2020. After registration, candidates will have to lock their choices. The final allotment will be on the basis of JEXPO merit score, availability of seats and preferences set by the candidates. Those who will be allotted seats in JEXPO 2020 counselling will have two options- either to accept the seat or opt for auto- upgradation. JEXPO Counselling Procedure 2020

All the candidates who will qualify JEXPO 2020 will be called for counselling process. Eligible candidates will have to register online in order to participate in JEXPO counselling 2020. Candidates can follow the given steps to understand the counselling procedure of JEXPO 2020.

Step 1: Registration- Candidates can register for JEXPO 2020 counselling by following given steps:

  • Click on “New Registration”.

  • Enter Enrollment number, index number.

  • Click “Proceed”.

  • An OTP will be generated and sent to the registered number of the candidate.

  • Enter OTP.

  • Check Personal Details. Make changes if required.

  • Create a Password.

Step 2: Student Login - In the next step, candidates have to login by entering their enrollment number and password.

Step 3: Choice Locking - On successful login, follow the given steps for choice locking-

  • Go to choice filling section.

  • Select Institute-branch combination.

  • Save choices. Candidates can edit their choices as many times as they want but only before the last date.

  • Lock the final choices.

  • Take a printout of your locked choices.

Step 4: Seat Allotment - The result of seat allotment will be declared online. Candidates who will be allotted seats, will have an option to accept the seat or opt for auto upgradation. However, upgradation of seats will not be allowed if a candidate gets his/her first prioritized seat. The result of JEXPO 2020 seat allotment will also be sent to the candidates on their registered mobile number.

Step 5: Printing of Allotment Letter- If a candidate accepts a seat, he/she will have to take a print out of the final allotment letter cum money receipt. However, if he/she opts for auto upgradation, the printout of the provisional allotment letter cum money receipt will have to be taken instead.

Step 6: Payment of Provisional or Final Seat Booking Fee- If a candidate will accept his/her seat, he/she will have to pay final seat booking fee of Rs.500/- through debit card/credit card /net banking/UPI. If candidate opts for auto upgradation, provisional seat booking fee of Rs.2000 has to be paid by him/her through debit card / credit card / net banking / UPI.

Step 7: Reporting & Document Verification- Candidates who will accept their allotted seats will have to report to the allotted institute with two copies of final allotment letter cum money receipt and all original documents for the process of verification.

Candidates who will opt for auto upgradation will not have to report the institute and wait for the next rounds of counselling.

Documents Required at the time of Verification-

  • Admit Card of Madhyamik or equivalent examination as proof of age and for determining district of schooling (if the candidate is allotted a district quota seat).

  • Mark sheet of the qualifying exam

  • JEXPO 2020 admit card

  • Reservation certificate

  • Two copies of printout of Allotment Letter cum Money Receipt

  • Medical fitness certificate

  • PwD certificate (if applicable)

Special Offline JEXPO Counselling 2020

A special round of offline counselling will be conducted to fill the seats vacant after the online JEXPO 2020 counselling. However, the candidates who have been allotted seats in previous rounds will not be eligible for this round. The allotment of seats in the special round will be on the basis of JEXPO merit list 2020.

JEXPO Exam is conducted for admission of various diploma courses offered by polytechnic institutes in West Bengal which includes science and technology. JEXPO 2020 will be conducted on 26th April, 2020 .

in most of the education board in india, in class 10th there is no group or division like science stream, in 10th class you need to study life science, physical science , mathematics and some of arts subject with language stream, the basic eligibility criteria for jexpo is you need to have 35% marks in 10th standard from a recognized education board with maths, sciences and english as a subject. the age criteria is candidate should not born after 1 july, 2005. there is no upper age limit.

The eligibility criteria for JEXPO states that the candidate interested to join should have passed class 10th or equivalent exam with eglish, science/ physical science and mathematics from a recognised board of education. Yes, You can apply for polytechnic after the class 10. JEXPO is state level entrance exam conduct for the admission in engineering,technology and architecture courses in self finance polytechnic colleges across the West Bengal. You can register for jexpo through online as well as offline mode. Exam will be conduct through offline mode.

JEXPO is an entrance examination for admission to Diploma courses in Polytechnic colleges of West Bengal. The courses are into admission and technology and the exam is conducted by West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development.
