Hello aspirant,

BCA students are not qualified to apply for GATE.
On the other hand, individuals pursuing an MCA after completing their BCA are deemed qualified to sit for the GATE exams. It is argued that the BCA syllabus does not provide the solid basis in courses like physics and chemistry that M. Tech students need, which is why MCA is necessary. GATE exams are available to MCA students in their second and third year.

Thank you

Hope it helps you

Hello aspirant,

Candidates can gain insight into key topics covered in the GATE 2025 syllabus, exam difficulty, chapter, and topic-wise weighting of past exam questions by completing GATE ME previous year problems.
