The authorities released the CUSAT 2024 M.Tech application form on the official website. Candidates had to submit the application form before the last date. Step 1: Registration - Students seeking admissions in postgraduate engineering courses at Cochin University of Science and Technology had to register first. Candidates had to submit the following details for registration:
After entering all the above given details an email and SMS with One Time Password (OTP) was sent to the candidate’s mobile number and email address respectively.
Step 2: Filling in Required Details - After the registration process is completed, candidates are required to fill the detailed application form of CUSAT M.Tech Admission 2024. Students applying for CUSAT M.Tech had to enter the below-given details after logging in using their credentials:
Step 3: Uploading Scanned Documents - In this step of the CUSAT M.Tech application process, candidates are required to upload scanned copies of their photographs and signatures in the prescribed format. The given documents had to be uploaded in below given format.

Step 4: Application Fee Payment
Students applying for M.Tech admissions in CUSAT had to pay the application fee through requisite mode. Students were able to pay the application fee of CUSAT M.Tech in both online and offline mode.
Offline Mode: For offline payment, candidates had to download the challan and make the application fee payment in cash at the nearest SBT/SBI Bank.
Online Mode: For online payment of the CUSAT M.Tech application fee, candidates had to select Power Jyoti Fee Collection (PUL) and enter the fee type as printed in the challan. After this step, applicants had to proceed further by clicking on the ‘Submit’ button. Next, candidates have to enter their date of birth in the “Validation Date” box and their date of birth in the “Fee Reference Number” box. After entering these details candidates had to download and take a print of the transaction details for future reference.

Step 5: Selection of Exam Centre - In this step, applicants have to select one exam centre from the list of available exam centres of CUSAT M.Tech Admission 2024.
Step 6: Downloading Application Confirmation Page - After completing all the above-given steps, the application process for CUSAT M.Tech Admission 2024 will be completed and an application confirmation page will be displayed on the screen. Candidates are advised to download and take a print of the application confirmation page for use in the future.
CUSAT provides M.Tech admissions to candidates based on their ranks in GATE 2024. The admission authority released the rank list for all the applicants based on their scores in GATE 2024. Some seats are filled through DAT exam along with CUSAT counselling for GATE-qualified candidates. The CUSAT DAT 2024 exam is scheduled for June 25 and 26.

Candidates had to register for CUSAT M.Tech counselling to be eligible for admission to the institute. The counselling process of CUSAT M.Tech Admission 2024 involves the below-given steps:
Step 1 - Option Entry: Candidates who have filled out the application form will have to log in to the candidate portal using a valid login id and password. After successful login, candidates will be required to select their category from Keralite or Non-Keralite. Next, candidates will have to select courses and colleges in order of their preference. Applicants are advised to select the maximum number of entries so they can get the best colleges and courses as per their preference. Applicants can also change and edit their preferences before the last date of option entry.
Step 2 - Allotment of Seats: After the option entry is complete, the authority releases a list of candidates who have been allotted seats in specific courses. Students whose names will appear on the list will have to check the schedule for the further admission process which will include document verification, fee payment etc. Students must note that the authorities will not issue any call letter for candidates.
Step 3 - Reporting to Counselling Venue: Students who have been allotted seats will have to be present physically at the counselling venue. Candidates will have to get registered within the given time frame at the counselling venue.
Step 4 - Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted for admissions will have to bring all the required documents in original along with two sets of attested copies. Candidates who fail to bring the required documents will be deemed ineligible for admission. Students have to carry the following documents for verification of CUSAT M.Tech admission 2024.
Step 5 - Fee Payment: After getting their documents verified, candidates will have to collect the fee challan. Next, the candidates will have to pay the required fee at the SBT counter. Students can make the fee payment through demand draft, cash, credit/ debit card, and RTGS funds transfer facility.
Step 6 - Provisional Admission Letter: Candidates can get their provisional admission letter after producing their fee payment challan that has been paid. Students must note that students will also be allowed to use higher option cancellation facilities after collecting their provisional admission letter. Candidates can use this facility only once during the entire admission procedure.
