Hi Meghna!
Previous years records says that the candidates getting less than 20,000 rank are considered under category1 and 20k onwards category2 starts and so on. So there are decent chances that you might come under category-2 or category-3. But there is no chance for category-1. And as per the last year cutoff trends, you might get Civil engineering at VIT Vellore and Chennai campus, Production and Industrial Engg at VIT Vellore, BioMedical Engineering at VIT Vellore,Electronics and Communication Engineering at VIT Chennai, Electrical and Electronics Engineering at VIT Chennai, Mechanic engg at VIT Chennai, Electronics and Computer Engineering at VIT Chennai and Fashin Technology at VIT Chennai.

Hi aspirant,
You didn't mentioned at which campus but I guess you are talking about either Chennai or Vellore campus as the other two are comparatively new and still growing. With the mentioned rank it is difficult to get a CSE seat at Vellore campus till third or fourth category and third category at Chennai campus.
You may follow the given order:
1 CSE- Category 4 at Vellore
2 CSE with specialization- Category 3 at Vellore
3 CSE- Category 3 at Chennai
4 CSE with specializations- Category 3 at Chennai
5 CSE - Category 4 at Chennai
You will surely be able to get a seat in case you follow the given order. If the fee of mentioned categories are not affordable to you, try CSE at Bhopal and Amravati campuses under first or second category.
Hope it helps!!

It is important for you to mention which campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham as the other campuses are no near to that of Coimbatore or Amritapuri campus. Taking these two in consideration, Manipal Jaipur falls far behind the Amrita University. Nirf University ranking of both colleges are 4 and 39 respectively.
The placements at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is excellent and higher due to tough competition, high reputation in education world. It also has highly active placement cells and student clubs which provide best options for placement and startups. Manipal University, Jaipur is still growing and is a sister college of Manipal campus, the placement here are around 75-80 percent and average packages is also lower in comparison.
Hope it helps !!
Hope you are doing fine.
With a score of 102/180 marks in AEEE 2021 you can expect a rank around 16000. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham will release AEEE 2021 cutoff in online mode after the conclusion of all four phases of Amrita entrance test

Now to get into CSE branch from Amrita Coimbatore you should have a rank of 8000 or below if you have state quota. As you have mentioned that you have state quota for Amrita campus then it would have been an added advantage of would have scored around 120-130 marks. You have less chances to get CSE branch. You need a score more than 150 marks to get into CSE branch from any of the Amrita campuses. With your score you can get into Mechanical branch. But still wait for your actual rank list.
Hope this is helpful for you.
Thank you.
Congratulations on your score!
As per the previous year's cut-off rankings, you have a good chance of getting CSE(probably in category 2) or CSE with a specialization or IT in VIT Vellore.
For CSE it is best to have a rank below 5k. After 5k, it all depends on the seats available and how high is your rank. The farther your rank the more you'll have to pay.
Please be mindful, several factors affect these cut-off rankings like difficulty level of the exam, total appeared candidates, the number of seats available, and more.
Please access the links below for previous year cut-off trends and a detailed analysis of the campus/branch you are eligible for as per your rank.
I hope this helps.
Please write back in case you have any further queries
Thank you and good luck!
No. It is very difficult to get cse/IT at 140 but you may get DSE or ECE.
