No. It is very difficult to get cse/IT  at 140 but you may get DSE or ECE.

Vellore Institute of technology entrance examination was already done dear. Infact after postponed the examination it was done few days ago and result also published..only counselling will be conduct within few days. So there are no chances right now to giving this examination.

And the AEEE examination was postponed. Only phase 3 examination will occur in July 11 to 14 , 2021. So those are interested to register are apply for this examination. And those students got failed in the examination can give this examination again in 16th July, 2021.

As per previous years records, there are decent chances that you can get CSE in VIT Vellore campus under category-1. But as we know that trend changes every year depending on various factors such as difficulty level of exam, number of candidates appeared etc. So, if anyhow you do not fall under category-1 or you do not get CSE in VIT Vellore campus, then do not get disheartened as you can always sit for category2. Also, the previous years records shows that CSE setas in VIT Vellore are available upto 6k rank and IT seats upto 9k ranks. If you get CSE (hope for the best), then beased on the seats available in the specialization, you can choose as per your interest.

Looking at the recent few years cutoffs trend, if you are aspiring for CSE in VIT Vellore, then unfortunately, you could not make it to VIT Vellore CSE as there Computer science branch get closed around 7000 VITEEE ranks.

Still, if you are really interested to be in this college(VIT Vellore) with any branch then you have few options of branches like Civil engineering, Production Engineering, Chemical engineering, Biomedical engineering and Biotechnology.

70 percentile is quite low score to target good institutions. So if you are willing to take admission in a good college then I think you should give a reattempt as because if your category if you will work hard a little more then you will shine in the paper.

Although if you doesn't feel like giving a reattempt then VITEE us also a good private college to pursue your engineering degree. The placement is average.

See where you stand in your preparation and whether you can invest more time in this and then decide accordingly.

The previous years records shows that the candidates who secure rank upto 20,000 are counted under category 1 and 20k onwards, category 2 starts. There are chanaces that you can get ECE, Mechanical, Electrical and electronics, civil engineering in VIT Vellore campus. The chances for IT and CSE are quite low. Other than this you can always sit for category 3 and Chennai Campus.
