Is it compulsory for all University admission in BTech?

The institute will offer admission based on any of the following there :UPESEAT, JEE Main merit or Class 12th through the centralised counselling. Candidates who will successfully qualify the UPESEAT can attend the counseling with the require documents and they will be alloted seat once the verification is completed.

However,80% of the seats will be filled through UPESEAT counseling and 20% of the seats will be filled through JEE Mains rank or class 12 marks.If all the seats under this 20% isn't filled up then the remaining will be filled based on the UPESEAT merit .

How many times can we give UPESEAT exam?

    • As per the official website of the UPES Dehradun there is no age criteria so you can give multiple times but these are some criteria which should be matched 

Minimum  80% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th) and minimum 80% aggregate in PCM at the senior secondary level (12th class)


For B. Tech. LLB(Hons.) PROGRAMS
  • EXAM PATHWAY: UPES Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT) followed by Centralized Counseling through UPESEAT Merit rank

And I am sharing with you some information about cut-off which may help you. There is a minimum Qualifying Marks with respect to the Category.

You can apply for UP government colleges based on JEE Main rank. As per your JEE Main percentile and previous year cut off data, you can get admission in colleges such as:-

  • University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Chandigarh.
  • Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida

Whether eligible for UPESEAT /2019 exam as 12th Board results are 45.6% aggregate in Phy/ Math & Chem; overall 55% aggregate.

Hi Eshan,

In response to your question that you have asked that whether you are eligible for UPSEE then I must tell you that with the mentioned percentage of 45.6 % in PCM and 55% aggregate overall you are eligible for UPSEE as the minimum aggregate Asked is 45%.  I hope this was helpful. Thank you.

I have booked my slot for upeseat 2019 but did not get admit card after slot booking

Hi

If you didn't find the option to download the admit card then there might not be the provision to give it instantly. Try it again after 24 hours of your slot booking. You surely will get it.

If you still don't find it, then they themselves would mail the downloading schedule.

How to prepare for UPESEAT EXAM ?

Hi Aastha,

Knowing the examination is very important. It is the first stage towards your preparation. Thus here is the UPESEAT 2019 Exam pattern:

  1. Time duration: 3 Hours
  2. Type of Question: Multiple Choice Questions
  3. Marking Scheme: No negative marking. +1 for correct answers.
  4. Syllabus: The syllabus would be same as that of JEE mains.

So now that you know the syllabus which is same of JEE mains and pattern, you can start preparing accordingly.

As you have  delhi state domicile with defence quota then be assured that you will get a good college in JAC . Whole depends on your jee ranks :)

How to prepare for UPESEAT Dehradun university exam ? What is the marking scheme for that exam ? Also the fee structure for this university?

Dear Aspirant, university of petroleum and energy studies (UPES) conducting this UPESEAT examination program. Candidates willing to take part in this program must have minimum 60% marks in 10th and 12th standard and minimum 60% aggregate marks in 12th level Physics, chemistry and mathematics. This year the the examination will be held on May 13 to may 19 in a computer based way. The fees for the application form is 1850 only. 

The fees structure of this course is 14,85,000 (for 8 semesters) approximately. There is also a scholarship program. Candidates who have secured at least 80% marks in 10th and 12th standard and in 12th standard 85% marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics will be eligible. 50% waiver on the tuition fees in the 1st year. Scholarships will be renewed if the candidates secures SGPA of 8 out of 10.

I had booked slot but not able to print admit card

Well Taj as I can see you were unable to download admit card. I would like to inform you that that there might be some technical error or issues which website is currently facing. When lots of candidates visit the website that time website might not take that much of loads so that it's crashes down. So I will request to kindly wait for sometime they might fix the issue soon.
