Moksh Dheri 9th Mar, 2026

With 98.77 percentile in JEE Mains 2026, he can expect a rank of around 12,000 to 15,000 if belonging to the General Category. He can apply for popular specialisations such as Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

I want to change the general to OBC-NCL in JEE Mains correction window. However, I have mentioned the income as more than 8 lakhs during application filling and it is not allowing now to update the income field. Can I change the category now if I have the valid OBC-NCL certificate.

Sambhav Thakur 9th Mar, 2026

Colleges in maharashtra with my jee percentile

nitish 13th Mar, 2026

Hi,

The colleges you can get in Maharashtra through JEE Main percentile depend on your exact percentile, rank, category, and whether you are a Maharashtra domicile or other-state candidate. Many government and private engineering colleges in the state accept JEE Main scores for B.Tech admission.

Pranjali Mathur 9th Mar, 2026

Hello, getting a government (free) B.Arch seat with an 86th percentile depends on your category, college, and state quota. Generally, top colleges like NITs or SPAs have higher cutoffs. For more details, you can check this link: JEE Mains BArch Cutoff Percentile 2026

Gandubilli Unnati 12th Mar, 2026

Hi,

Please apply for the OBC certificate after April 1, 2026. Use the declaration form while applying, and then you can add your correct OBC certificate number during the form correction. You only have to show your OBC Certificate during the counselling, hence you can produce it during the JoSAA

I have got 85.9% time in JEE mains what is the best approach or college I should take in South Indian college I want

Sonia Vats 10th Mar, 2026

With 85.9 percentile in JEE Main, you can try for NITs through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority counselling, but chances in top branches may be limited. You can also consider good South Indian colleges like state engineering colleges or private universities based on your rank and preferences.

I Got 90.5%ile in JEE Mains Session 1 , I am from Gujarat are there any chances of getting admission colleges like NIRMA, PDPU, JAYPEE NOIDA AND ETC. with reputated branches like CSE, ECE etc.

Nitin 9th Mar, 2026

Hi,

With a 90.5 percentile in JEE Main Session 1 (approx. 95,000–1,00,000+ rank, depending on total applicants), you have decent to good chances for ECE and core branches at Nirma and PDPU, especially using your Gujarat home state quota.
