Is college mein Pravesh kis tarah se hota hai JEE main ya to 20% se

Akansha Sharma 1st Jun, 2025

Admission in engineering colleges happens mainly in two ways:

1. Through JEE Main exam: Most good colleges give seats based on your JEE Main rank. This is called the 80% All India Quota or merit-based admission.

2. Through 12th class marks (20% seats): Some colleges reserve around 20% seats for students based on their 12th board exam marks, called the State Quota or management quota.

So, admission can be either by JEE Main rank or by your 12th percentage, depending on the colleg e rules.

Vasundhra 25th May, 2025

Dear Candidate ,
Unfortunately, the qualifying percentile for the SC category this year is around 61.15 , which means you did not clear the cutoff for JEE Advanced and are not eligible for admission into NITs , IIITs, or GFTIs through JoSAA counseling .

Dear Candidate ,
With a JEE Main Rank of 251,208 admission to B. Tech Food Technology at NIFTEM Thanjavur is not possible , as their closing rank is around 95,000. Consider Karnataka state counseling ( KEA ) for other colleges or private colleges accepting your rank .

B.arch colleges with jee mains rank 35834

Akansha Sharma 1st Jun, 2025

With a JEE Main B.Arch rank of around 35,834, you have a good chance to get admission in several government and private colleges. Some options might include state government colleges or private universities that accept JEE Main Paper 2 scores.

Top NITs or IITs may be difficult with this rank, but good state colleges or private ones like SPA Vijayawada, Jamia Millia Islamia, or others might be possible. Always check the latest cutoff lists during counseling to know exact chances .

In which iiits a girl with a rank of 20799 in jee main can get into with cse or ai branch

hemanth kumar 25th May, 2025

If you are female and scored 20,799 in JEE Main 2025, you have an equal opportunity to get into Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or Artificial Intelligence (AI) at several IIITs. If you look at previous years' closing ranks, these IIITs have placement opportunities that won’t require extremely high ranks:

There are around 20,000 women applicants for CSE at Industrial Institute of Information Technology in Guwahati which suggests a bright chance for all of them.

The number of female candidates accepted in CSE at IIIT Kalyani has been between 33,000 and 34,000 every year.

With nearly 26,000 women registered for CSE 2020 (Round 1), your application for IIIT Una remains in the running.

With female candidates being chosen among students putting in CSE offers, the IIIT Sri City is now a viable option, as it has entered the top 25,000.

For CSE, female applicants have a strong chance, with 19,963 pass rankings.

IIIT Lucknow: Candidates applying for female CSE ranks have ranged from 13,963.

These predicted scores are from earlier years and may not match the real cutoffs this year. It’s important to join all rounds of counseling and look at both branches to have the best chance.

What are the possible iiits a girl may get with 20799 rank in jee main in cse or ai branches

Akansha Sharma 1st Jun, 2025

With a JEE Main rank around 20,799, as a girl, you have a good chance to get admission in some IIITs (Indian Institutes of Information Technology) for CSE or AI branches. IIIT Hyderabad and IIIT Bangalore might be tough, but IIITs like IIIT Pune, IIIT Hyderabad (if waitlist), IIIT Guwahati, and other newer IIITs are possible. Also, some IIITs give relaxation or reservations for female candidates, so your chances improve. Participate in counseling and check cutoffs carefully.

I got 66 percentile in jee mains (sc category). Will i be able to get any NITs Or GFTIs?

Akansha Sharma 1st Jun, 2025

With 66 percentile in JEE Mains as an SC category student, it will be tough to get admission in top NITs because their cutoffs are usually higher. But you may have a chance in some lower-ranked NITs or Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) that have lower cutoff marks.

You should participate in the counseling process and apply to as many options as possible. Also, consider good state-level or private colleges where SC reservations apply. Keep preparing for better chances next time !

i got 25983 rank in aeee ( 60.6144 percentile in aeee).and i got 69.01 percentile in jee mains . am i eligible to get a seat in amritha banglore campus in mechanical engineering.?

kumardurgesh1802 25th May, 2025

Hello Naveen,

With a rank of 25,983 in AEEE and 69.01 percentile in JEE Mains, your chances for Mechanical Engineering at Amrita Bangalore campus are low because the cutoff for Mechanical Engineering is usually much better (closer to top ranks).

Amrita’s Bangalore campus generally requires higher ranks or percentiles for Mechanical Engineering admission. You may consider other campuses or related branches with lower cutoff.

For exact admission details, check the current year’s official cutoff or contact the college admission office.
