Already lost many yrs of study due to personal problems shouldve been in 12 th right now instead of 10( nios ) so just want to do 12 next year no 11 th and then will i be eligible to give jee exams in the year i am going to pass 12, 2027 , aim to go to iit delhi , cant afford one more year loss please reply with accurate information

Aahana Rawat 9th Nov, 2025

Hi there,

Yes, you will be eligible to appear for the JEE exams in the year 2027 if you meet all other criteria. But you cannot complete your 10th and 12th in consecutive years, as it requires a minimum of two years' gap between both classes.

NIOS, like all other recognized boards, follows this rule. You cannot skip class 11th. And if you complete your 12th class in 2027, considering you will complete your 10th class in 2025, you will be eligible to appear for the JEE exams in the year you passed 12th and the subsequent year.

Hope it helps!!!

Can someone give jee exams in the same year they are going to appear for 12 board and have done 12 directly after 10th no 11

Prachi Kumari 10th Nov, 2025

Hello,

Yes, a student can appear for the JEE exam in the same year they are appearing for their Class 12 board exams, even if they completed Class 12 directly after Class 10 (without doing Class 11 separately).

However, they must fulfill these conditions:

  • They should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects in Class 12.

  • Their school or board must officially recognize the Class 12 qualification.

  • They must meet the minimum eligibility percentage required by JEE and the respective institute.

So, as long as the student’s Class 12 is valid and recognized, they can give JEE in that same year.

Hope it helps !

For the 90+ percentile, it was around 120–140 marks (out of 300), depending on the shift—that means just 40–45 correct attempts with good accuracy.

I belong to BC caste. Should I apply as OBC or general in Jee mains registration?

Sankalp Agrawal 7th Nov, 2025

Hello,

If you belong to the BC (Backward Class) category, you can choose OBC-NCL in JEE Mains only if your caste is included in the Central OBC list released by the Government of India.

Here’s how it works:

  • Central OBC list: Used for national-level exams like JEE, NEET, UPSC, etc.

  • State BC list: Used only for state-level admissions or jobs.

So, if your BC caste name is in the Central list, select OBC–NCL while filling the JEE form.
If your caste is not in the Central list, choose General category, because the state BC certificate won’t be valid for JEE.

Example:
If you’re BC in Tamil Nadu but your caste isn’t in India’s Central list, you’ll be counted as General for JEE.

Hope you understand.

Is it compulsory to fill APAAR ID in JEE Mains application. Even though correct number entered, it is showing credentials are mismatch

Sankalp Agrawal 7th Nov, 2025

Hello,

No, it’s not compulsory to fill the APAAR ID in the JEE Main application form right now.

If your APAAR ID shows a “credential mismatch” error even after entering the correct number, don’t worry, you can simply leave it blank and continue filling the form.

  • The APAAR ID field is optional for most students.

  • It’s mainly for linking your academic records under the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) system.

  • The mismatch often happens if your Aadhaar details or school record name format differ.

So, you can submit your JEE form without the APAAR ID, and it won’t affect your application.

Hope you understand.
