Sir I got 80% in jac board and 88% in jee mains I am eligible for jee advance or not

Hello,

NTA has already announced the cut-offs for JEE Mains. The cut-off depends on the category ro which you belong. If you are general, then the cut-off is 89.7548849 and you are not qualified for JEE Advanced.

For other categories:

Hello,

As your JEE Mains percentile is 84.2 and belong to EWS Category you are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced. According to cut-offs released by NTA, EWS requires 78.2174869 to be eligible for registering for JEE Advanced.

The registration starts on 3rd May 2019 and you have to submit

Well, I understand your concern, as you migh have given 6 subjects and you might not have performed well in PCM, I suppose.

Acording to JoSAA guidelines, they mandate to have 75% in the CBSE board, so if your top 5 subjects are having 75% then

Hello aspirant, 

The category you have given during registration of Jee mains ,that category will only be considered for jee advanced, you can not change your category during  jee advanced registration. So your category will remain general only.

Yes , of course the marks of an individual subject is counted by the summation of the both the papers and so the cut off score. U have to clear the cut off marks of any individual subject by scoring combined marks in both the papers.

Yes you can use the certificate of St category issued by the state government for the registration process of JEE advanced but you have to upload the document in the prescribed format as given on the JEE advanced official website as no other formats will be accepted so

Look for the percentile in your result .

If the mentioned percentile is above 

74.3166557 than you are eligible for giving jee advanced.

And if mentioned percentile is less than 

74.3166557 than you are not eligible.
