what happen I clear jee advance and not get 75% in board so going to counselling is beneficial to me or not i belong to obc category

If you are in top 20 percentile than you can take admission ; so you should go for counseling and have a look of it .

Because one of the criteria 75% or top 20 percentile must be fulfilled to get admission.

Hi, if you belong to general and obc category you cannot because the eligibility criteria for them is to score 75% or above. But for SC and ST it is 65%.

I would suggest you to give an improvement exam next year if you really want to go for JEE

As you have secured 62 percentile in jee main and you are lying under SC category. Since the cutoff for SC category is 54.01 percentile and your score is 62 percentile. Therefore, you are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced.

Dear candidate,

As per the guidelines for jee advance to appear by any candidate then the cuttoff od jee main will be 

  • For general 89.75
  • Ews 78.2
  • Obc 74.3
  • Sc 54
  • St 44.3

You can check yours according to you marks and percentile. And as per your marks your percentile

Do NIT have any payment seats or NRI seats (my father living outside India) but I have scored 74.28 in obc

NITs accept NRI seats. These students need not require to appear for JEE Mains. Instead, they need to write the SAT Exam to get admission in NITs as NRI. But, keep in mind that the academic fee of these students is much higher compared to the normal student's

Hello,

As you don't have 75% aggregate marks in class 12th board exam, hence you are not eligible to get admission in NIT/IIT/IIIT even if you appear for jee advance.
