If you want good branch in old IITs then you have to score minimum of 45 percent marks in jee advanced then you will definitely get the seat.

You can only get a seat in IIT Bombay or any other IIT on the basis of JEE Advanced performance(JEE Advanced rank). To be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced, one needs to qualify JEE Mains cutoffs. There is no management quota in any of the IITs or NITs.
