Hey Sharmila,

With this much score in jee mains from OBC category you cannot get a good government college. I will suggest you to go for gftis like Mizoram University or Assam University if you belong to the home state quota of these universities. You should look for private colleges

Hi Prasanthi. Your JEE main score corresponds to around 45 marks. So your rank must be around 50000. Your chances in NITs are low. Yet you should go for the JoSAA counselling procedure. There is always a chance that you get admission into a good college or even an NIT.

You have done well in your JEE mains examination there's no reason why you can't succeed in JEE Advanced.

Not all exm goes the same way as before. Don't think about all this and keep working and preparing for JEE Advanced without thinking about the consequences.

First iiit takes admission through jee mains. As for iit your rank is good enough to get good iit. You can get iit bhu, iit roorkee with branches like mechanical engineering, iit guwahati with chemical engineering, ISM dhanbad with electronic and communication engineering.

No, not at all. The cut-off is based on total marks including marks of both paper 1 and paper2 .

However, the cut-off is subject wise too. You should clear cut-off of all three subjects irrespective of paper 1 and paper2.

Yes ,you will be able to clear if you give paper 1 jee advanced and score 10 marks and score 130 in Paper 2 and the cutoff is 120 .You only need to make sure that you clear the cutoff in each subject .For example,the cutoff for last year was
