Can I get seat in IIT with 24000 rank

No, you don't get a seat in IITs with 24000 rank. This rank is quite low to get a seat in IITs. In 2018 there are total 11279 seats in all 23 IITs. To confirm a seat with good branch ,your rank should be under 10,000.

your rank in general category would be above 2 lakhs and in OBC category it would be above 1 lakhs. we would suggest you to start working again if you want to enter in IIt

What is mean by opening and closing rank of the college did it mean that from this rank to this rank in advance can take admission plz telme

Yes! The opening rank means that the admissions starts from the particular rank and closing rank means that rank after closing rank will not be considered for any seat in the college.

Well you have secured above 70% in your UP board. Though I've not the list of top 20%ile of UP oard candidates but since UP board has quite low scoring as comparison to other boards. 

So I can safely assume you must be in the top 20%ile list and hence

Colleges accepting jee Advanced score?

Hello,

There are many colleges other than IITs which accept jee advanced scores.

They are IISc,Iiser,Rajiv Gandhi institute of petroleum technology,Iipe, Iist,etc.

IISER have many branches all over India and they have certain cutoffs every year.

All these colleges accept the jee advanced score for admission purposes.

Hello aspirant,  

I am so sorry to say that for admissions to NITs/ IIITs/ GFTIs, Candidates need to have secured a minimum 75% marks in class XII  conducted by the respective board. For SC/ ST candidates, the eligibility criteria are to secure 65% marks in class XII or equivalent exam.

JEE advanced cut off 2019 consist of minimum marks or ranks that are required to take admission. To predict cutoff following things are kept in mind:-
1. Previous year's trends
2. Total no. Of aspirants
3. Number of seats available
4. Difficulty level of exam

Hello Soumyadeep,

Congratulations for qualifying Paper 2 of JEE Advance. Its not easy. But to be able to give JEE AAT, one has to clear both, Paper 1 and Paper 2 of JEE Advanced. 

You can rather try applying in different colleges/university which accept the results of JEE Advanced paper

Simple. I've achieved a rank under 10k but still prefered NIT over the IIT's available at this rank.

Infact you can safely assume that around 15k students 20k would opt for NIT over IIT.

The simple reason is qualifying JEE advanced should not be the motive but cracking the
