Hello student,

JEE Advance rank on the basis of marks is completely unpredictable. It changes drastically every year.

With 50 percentage of marks, you would have got 4000-5000 rank in 2017; while you would have rank under 1000 in 2016 with the same percent of marks.

Hi ! No, you can't get an admission to there. IIST is a very good and top notch institute for b.tech students. To get there you need to have a rank between 4000-6000 in general category. So, getting there is bit tough. So hope you understand and best of luck
