You have to appear jee mains ever time you opt for jee advance for the respective year . The mark in year 2020 will not carried forward to year 2021.
So try to score good in jee mains such that you can get a chance for jee advance for

Hey!There

Candidate can attempt maximum two times in two consecutive years.Since you passed 12th board in 2019 and you can appear in JEE ADVANCE 2020.But if you appeared in JEE ADVANCE 2019 then you can't sit in JEE ADVANCE 2021..
