I am from SC category.... I have cleared SC cut off in jee main....but my AIR rank is not within 2.5 lakh .... my SC rank is 41k.... Am I eligible for JEE Advance?

See your eligibility for JEE-Advance is not determined by your rank in JEE-Main instead it is determined by the percentile you scored in your JEE-Main final result. As we know that NTA released the cut-offs for different categories so it is also described below :-

NTA has declared the qualifying marks for JEE Mains, the cut-off marks has decreased for OBC category in 2020 and it's 72.887969, your daughter has got 75 percentile, so, she is qualified for JEE Advanced.

Unfortunately, there is no relaxation in JEE-Main qualifying cut-offs for female, the relaxation is provided only on the basis of category and none other relaxation is provided by NTA. If you belongs to General category your score should be 90.37 percentile or more to make you eligible for

If we talk about the eligibility criteria for jee advanced,,

  1. U should pass 12

U should clear jeemain exam (irrespective of percentile)

I think for those who have passed 12th this year the 75% in 12th is not mandatory to qualify for jee adv.

Hey there

There are only two attempts in consecutive years are allowed in JEE advanced and three attempts in JEE mains are allowed. seeing your case you are not eligible for JEE advanced but you are eligible to take admission through jee mains score.
