I have got 84.55 scored OBC category in jee mains session 1 am I appeared for jee advance

Devyani Prakash 14th Feb, 2024

To appear for JEE Advance, you have to meet the JEE Main qualifying cutoff to appear in the JEE Advance exam. The qualifying cutoff will release with the final result after the April session, so then you will get to know whether you’re eligible for JEE advance or not.

While preparing the JEE Main 2024 qualifying cutoff authorities consider various factors like

  • Number of students who appeared for JEE Advanced 2024

  • Number of students applied for the JEE Advanced

  • Exam difficulty level

  • Previous year cutoff trends

Talking about the previous year qualifying cutoff, for the OBC Category, the cutoff was 73.61, so on the basis of your score, you would be eligible to appear for Advance as per last year trends.

NA MEANS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR JE ADVANCE?

Akansha Sharma 2nd Jun, 2025

Yes, in the JEE Main result, if it shows “NA” (Not Applicable) in the JEE Advanced eligibility column, it usually means you are not eligible for JEE Advanced. This could be due to various reasons like low percentile, not meeting the cutoff, not passing Class 12 with the required percentage, or exceeding attempt limits. Check the official cutoff list and your score carefully. If you still have doubts, contact the JEE helpdesk for clear guidance based on your details.
