mjaisinghani62 25th Mar, 2024

Hello aspirant

If you wish to pursue Bachelor of engineering Course,  you may gat a computer science seat on thd basis of your CET ( common entrance test) score , there is no need to appear for jee mains and jee advanced but of you wish to get CS seat in NITs or IITs then without jee mains and jee advanced,  you won't get admisdion there .

Also you 75 % criteria is not mandatory with CET score . Getting minimum 75% in PCM criteria is mandatory for NITs and IITs .

Institutes offering omputer science  Engineering on the basis of CET score are mentioned below

Thadhomal Institute of technology , Bandra , mumbai.

Engineering college , pune

when should I apply for obc certificate if I am writing jee advanced in 2025 what would be the last date

Satvik 5th Oct, 2024

Hi

hope you doing well

If you are planning to apply under the OBC-NCL category, it's crucial to have a valid OBC-NCL certificate issued on or after April 1, 2025. This certificate will be required during the JEE Advanced registration and counseling processes.

When to apply:

  • Ensure your OBC-NCL certificate is issued on or after April 1, 2025 . Applying earlier than that will result in the certificate not being valid for JEE Advanced 2025.
  • You can start the process a little earlier to ensure there’s no delay in getting the certificate issued after April 1.

Last date:

  • The exact last date to submit the certificate will be provided by the JEE Advanced authorities in their 2025 information brochure. Usually, the deadline is just before the JEE Advanced registration closes, which is around mid-May of the exam year.

hope this will help you

Best Wishes.

Hi, It would be very helpful if someone could answer this question. Im from Telangana state board, and took my 11th board exams in 2024. if I fail one subject but later score full marks in the improvement/ supplementary exam. Will I still be eligible to write both JEE mains and JEE advanced?

Satvik 16th Oct, 2024

Hi

hope you doing well

Yes, you will still be eligible to write both JEE Mains and JEE Advanced , as long as you meet the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility for jee mains:

To appear for JEE Mains, you need to have passed your 12th board exams (or equivalent) with Physics, Mathematics, and one additional subject (like Chemistry, Biology, or a vocational subject).

Failing in one subject in 11th grade won't directly affect your eligibility for JEE Mains as long as you pass 12th grade with the required subjects.

Eligibility for jee advanced:

For JEE Advanced, you must be among the top performers in JEE Mains and pass 12th board exams.

Even if you clear the failed subject in a supplementary or improvement exam, you’ll be considered eligible for JEE Advanced, provided you pass all subjects required for your board’s 12th qualification in the same academic year.

hope you get it and find it useful

Best Wishes.

If I get less than 75 % marks in class 12 state board exam 2024 and if I give my board again in 2025 will I be eligible for jee advance in 2025

Ishita 21st Jul, 2024

Hello Aspirant,

Yes, you will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advance even if you have a repeat exam. But you will be able to appear for the exam only when you have cleared the compartment exam/exams and have 75% above aggregate in 12th. The 75% and above percentage is a compulsion for every student of General and OBC student, only for SC/ST students, it is 65% and above.

Make sure you have passed all the exams and cross 75% in 2025 in the 12th Board examination in order to appear for JEE Advance.

Hope this helps

I passed out my class 12th board in 2023 and I didnt give any exam either jee mains or jee adv in 2023. I started my jee preperation after this, now I am going to give jee advanced 2024 but I dont think I am going to get my dream IIT in this year, so my question is can I give Jee advance in 2025?

Satvik 16th Oct, 2024

Hi

hope you doing well

No, unfortunately, you cannot appear for JEE Advanced in 2025 since you passed your 12th board exams in 2023. As per the eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced, a candidate can attempt the exam only twice in consecutive years after passing the 12th board.

  • First attempt: JEE Advanced 2024 (your first eligible year after 12th).
  • Second attempt (if needed): 2025, but only if you had appeared for JEE Advanced 2024.

Since you didn’t appear for JEE Advanced in 2023, 2024 is your last chance to give the exam.

Look into top NITs, IIITs, or IISc Bangalore , which also offer excellent programs.

You have alternative Routes like to explore IIT admission through interdisciplinary programs (like IIT Hyderabad’s BDes or other non-core branches).

Hope you get it and find it useful

Best wishes.

Sir, I got 99.804 percentile in JEE Main 2024. Which NIT I can get , kindly guide. kindly also provide me your guidance and tips to clear JEE Advance with good rank so that I can get IIT Mumbai or IIT Delhi.

Satvik 9th Oct, 2024

Hi

hope you doing well

First of all, Congratulations on your impressive score in JEE Main! With a 99.804 percentile, you have a good chance of securing a seat in several National Institutes of Technology (NITs). The specific NIT you can get into will depend on various factors, including your category (General, OBC, SC/ST, etc.), the branch you prefer, and the cutoffs for the various NITs in your category.

With your percentile, you might be eligible for the following NITs, particularly for branches like Computer Science, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering:

  • NIT Trichy
  • NIT Surathkal
  • NIT Warangal
  • NIT Calicut
  • NIT Jaipur
  • NIT Bhopal

Its better to study like your own way but if you need tips surely i will give you:

Familiarize yourself with the JEE Advanced exam pattern and syllabus. Understand the types of questions and the marking scheme.

Its very Important to solve previous years' papers and take mock tests to improve your speed and accuracy. This will help you get comfortable with the exam format.

Develop a study schedule that allocates sufficient time for each subject and stick to it. Prioritize your weak areas while maintaining your strengths.

And Go on, Don't take unnecessary stress

Best Wishes.
