Hi! You will be pleased to know that no, it's not compulsory. There is no best of 3 but your cumulative score is considered and there are several people who achieve a good score with PCM. However, it will be preferable to study and attermpt it if you can due to the exponential rise in competetion. All the best!
i could not find any option of finding my reults
Yes the IISER aptitude test 2020 merit list has been declared .candidates are allotted seats on the basis of that. It is prepared on the on the basis of of the total number of seats available through SCB , KVPY and JEE.
Hi aspirant,
Basic education requirement for appearing in SCAB is one need to be clear 12th standard. So in your case you had cleared 12th. So you can appear at any time. So yes you can appear for exam even after one year of completion of 12 and basis of result of 12 scorecard.
hope this is helpful to clear your dilemma.
Thanks Desa Casley for asking the question!
The fact if you will bag a seat in the IISERs will depend on the list of preferences you have set and the marks secured in the IAT 2020(through SCB stream)
Please note that there are no official cutoffs. The IISER IAT does not have functions like JEE Mains/Advanced with X rank giving Y IISER for sure, as there are no opening or closing ranks/marks.
But considering the previous trends..the safe marks for the OBC stream would be 75/180 to bag the seats in the newest IISERs (i.e IISER Tirupati and Berhampur)
It is difficult but considering the fact this year seats are more through SCB stream , if you wait till the last round you may get an IISER . Hope for the best.
Hi Aspirant,
You get to know you are selected or not directly since there is a change in every year's cutoff. In year 2019,People scoring 96 were alloted seat in first round, marks of 86-88 were alotted in second round and 83-85 in 3rd round. So as you can see you have less chances in getting admission in ISER since your marks is very low than the average cutoff every year.
All the best for future!
