yes you are eligible for the counselling in IISER through your examinations. You can defintely give the entrance exam but the only rquirement is to have 75%(genral, obc, obc-ncl) in your 12th board and 65%(sc, st, pwd).

There is no information regarding the sixth round of counselling for admission in IISR through State and Central Boards Channel (SCB) channel. The Fifth special round has not yet ended and will end at 11:55 P.M tonight. This round is for postponed special round candidates( dated 23-26, Nov 2020) and for the candidates who float from the previous rounds.

I am not sure of the actual count of people who have applied, but the number of applications finally accepted last year was around 20k.
Please keep in mind that this is the number of applicants who were allowed to write the exam i.e the students who fulfilled all eligibility criteria and also followed all necessary steps in the application form.
The acttual number will be around 2 lakhs.

Firstly, go the official website of IISER admissions. Next, there will be an option for IISER Results, click on it. You will have to enter details to login such as your username and password. Once logged in successfully, your score card will be displayed on the screen. Download the scorecard and take a print of it.

There will be questions from Physics,Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology in IISER aptitude test. The syllabus may vary every year. You can check the syllabus from the official website of IISER

Hi! You will be pleased to know that no, it's not compulsory. There is no best of 3 but your cumulative score is considered and there are several people who achieve a good score with PCM. However, it will be preferable to study and attermpt it if you can due to the exponential rise in competetion. All the best!
