Gujarat Post Graduate Common Entrance Test

Gujarat PGCET is conducted for admission to postgraduate programs of engineering, pharmacy and planning, it's conducted by ACPC(Gujarat). Those with valid GATE/GPAT score are exempted from the exam.
The tentative date for commencement of application process is 27th August.
Application form will be available online at the official website at http://www.jacpcldce.ac.in/
Before online registration, candidates have to collect PIN covers from designated branches of ICICI by paying Rs 500 which will contain User ID and 14 digit PIN, after this they need to log in with the given credentials and fill all the necessary personal, academic and communication details, select exam centre and upload photograph, verify all the details before submission, after the submission a unique registration number will be generated which can be noted down as this has to be confirmed further, and take prints out of the documents for future references.

No Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara does not accept PGCET. For admission in M.E/M.Tech Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara accepts GATE score. For Electrical Power Engineering to you need to give GATE exam. Master of Engineering (ME) in Electrical Power Engineering is a two-year full-time postgraduate program offered by the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara and approved by AICTE.
Gujarat PGCET is a State level entrance examination and it has only the following reservations:
SC: 7%
ST: 15%
Socially and Educationally Backward Class Including Orphans and Widows: 27%
Persons with disability: 5%
Wards of Ex-servicemen and Defence force: 1%

The eligibility criteria for Gujarat PGCET the candidates should have passed the qualifying examination with the relevant discipline with at least 50% marks (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEBC). You don't need to clear GATE. Please click the below link to know more.

Hello student no its not like its necessary to qualify GATE examination but if you've qualified gate examination then you'll be given extra preferences. Candidates who've valid gate Score are eligible to take direct admission.
Eligibility - Candidates must hold a Bachelor degree in BE/B.TECH.

Gujrat PGCET is a exam conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) for admission into M.Tech/M.E course. The booklet for the same containing PIN can be tentatively purchased from the bank in first week of july.
